Went to see JB this evening, went to Cineworld MK for the 19.40 showing and am pleased to report a 50% (ish) attendance rate, which I thought was quit impressive given this has now been out for a bit.

Whilst buying tickets / snacks I was having a chat with the server and managed to grill him a bit regarding sales, he informed me that in the MK Cineworld they sold “at least 10,000 tickets” on the opening night (think we have 15 screens) which I thought was mega, he also said it’s by far the biggest film since the pandemic, obviously I suppose, but nice to hear from the coal face so to speak.

Mountainous - I’m not sure about that specifically, but am completely sure they breached in two other ways. 1. The renegotiated contracts (suppliers, studios etc) worth over the agreement limits without cineworld approval…..2. They traded the development rights away circa $21m value without cineworld approval. Both clauses are I think designed to ensure there is not material devaluation to the business between the agreement being signed and the contract closing without cineworld knowledge/approval.

That’s my understanding at least.

Hi Blue, yeah a completely malicious claim in my opinion, probably to try and cover up their own wrong doing in early Q1, 2020…if anything worse than 0-0 then it’s a complete farce and the Canadian court will have shown favouritism and ignores the glaringly obvious. Your right about the distraction as well, we and the company should be looking and planning ahead instead of going over and over the same irrelevant crap.

Agreed mountainous, their case has no merit, it’s been obvious for some time / several witnesses, this needs to be done!!! My guess is force majour (credit to LPD) he mentioned it in the weeks before the case started. Obviously I think and probably we all here think, it should be thrown out. But I think the judge will bail on a definitive decision against one party and basically call it a 0-0 draw with no money either way. Just my (LPD’) guess, what’s your prediction ?

Surely there can’t be many more witnesses now? I also can’t think of anything worse than hearing these same arguments one more time. It clear about each respective co’ position now, let’s get to the getting and have the judge throw this S*** out. Then Mooky can get to sorting this share price out !!!

I think wider market sentiment, for example the hints from the BOE that an interesting rate hike could be sooner than later. If we do it then it’s likely the rest of the world will follow (I’m guessing they are all looking at doing this) hold baby of pull the rip cord got to do what right for you. Diamond hands here boi

Can I request you please expand in the judges comments you mentioned in your comment below, what was being discussed etc at the time and what she said? It sounds like she’s had enough of hearing the same lies from cp re the debt and kind of let slip that she’s thinks they breached…..I know that’s a reach from what you wrote but kind of adds up.

JG - the voice is real isn’t it….it’s dang horrible, nothing has got it under my skin like this investment has.

All I can say mate is, just before a tsunami the see level drops, then before you know it BAM. I’m hope in a successful conclusion to the court case will be the trigger for this.

To all my fellow LTH’ this share has been such a s**t bag for months with its mega drop to the mini revival followed by the recent fake boom and subsequent tiny bust, I feel like whenever I get out of this share, profit or loss I’m going to need to speak with a shrink, might have got ptsd from this mo fo.

I’m still invested in cine so that will have to wait, until then I’ll have to rely on the fact that I’m not alone as should you if your reading this, your not alone. The crushing feeling of seemingly constant SP contradiction to good news and improving business is the worst part as it make no sense to the rational mind. Your not alone in coming to that conclusion.

BC - seeing how your such an amazing investor and obviously are very rich, how about helping some bro’s out? F**k o** with your 20/20 hindsight investment advice.

JG - I’m sinking into the abyss mate, miles under water….if I sell I drown for sure, if I hold either one of the court case, evergrande, us debt limit, interest rates or an unknown unknown will wipe me out….that said I’m a big boy and made my choices for better or worse of my own volition. This pressure however is what creates diamonds - only question is can you hold out?

P.S every human instinct is telling me to get out…but my rational brain is saying fundamentally the business is in far better shape than when I invested and the logic was and remains sound, with patience this will come good…..

Or having a frustration induced stroke!
