Agree a smart move. Buy backs at these prices make sence for longer term returns. Most of my portfolio have buybacks, it would appear due to depressed valuations that it's the prudent way forward. I'm happy enough with the decision. All views welcomed. GLA

Was always going to be rejected at that price. Seems pretty clear that any low ball offer will be rejected so pretty pointless and time wasting. Put up or pi55 off and let the business focus on growth. Either way, long term this will grow nicely GLA

100% bt, renting is expensive with nothing to show for it. This so called war will be over soon enough until the next crisis looms. UK needs houses, there is never going to enough built to satisfy a ever increasing population. HBs for me are solid and no threat from AI. I'll keep topping up on these drops. Lesley I'm in same position as you been in this for years and watched my holding value siink. Very poor management also in Future plc a very similar story. Relying on luck now on both holdings as the board and management are useless. GLA

Well ive just sold the majority of my holding and took the loss on the chin. (Win some lose some) Got zero confidence in the BOD and hangers on running the company. The paltry 5k director purchase was really the last straw.

Kept a few hundred shares on the off chance that the right person gets to the helm and turns it around but not holding my breath. Good luck to remaining PI's

Nothing wrong with the busines. It's the clowns who are running the show. Decline has been since Zillah left who took the it from strength to strength. AI just a continuous excuse. May as well hand it over to the shorters. How the renumeration packages got through the agm leaves me scratching my head.

JG 100% We need a high flyer with a load of charisma respected in the industry. Zillah had all of these qualities but stood down, not given credit for her successes..... should have rewarded her, gave her what she wanted for her achievements or someone similar.

Media industry needs a stand out respected CEO but pay the salary and get the right individuals. Pay peanuts get monkeys to coin a phrase. We have a high cash generative company being run by wannabes.

Ying been out of his depth since given the job. Internal promotion just a easy option. The BOD needs replacing. My guess is short interest is driven by the clowns running the show and not the fundamentals.

This SP destruction needs to be addressed as a matter of urgency. Management have sat on their hands and let the SP be destroyed with what look likes a complete disregard for shareholders both institutional and private holders. I'm amazed that there hasn't been any action from the major players. The whole BOD need to be ousted. Been a comple shambles and downward spiral since Zillah left. Shocking performance.
