Also looks like dropping out of FTSE 250. Positives hard to come at the moment. GLA
If my reading is correct we should be back in the FTSE 250 next reshuffle? after exiting on the last reshuffle? any thoughts or have i missed a few months. GLA
No sector specific i think , Bakkavor also down around same %. Usual overreaction to fleece small shareholders. Bxllocks
Spoons property portfolio worth more than current m/c. Like Morrisons it owns most of its outlets. YTD marstons -50%, M &B -38% Loungers -28% JDW -46% all Pubs/breweries getting hammered just like clothing, retail leisure etc. Eventually the tide will turn and growth will follow. Patience will be rewarded, ignore the countless idiots on these boards that are just after trolling to make a quick buck. GLA
Panmure & all so called brokers targets should be ignored, these so called experts are a bunch of clowns working to their own agenda. RBC Capital had £72 "outperfom" target on ASOS in May, now its £7 & half quid! Better off getting a monkey to give advice. Rant over, GLA
I don't get it either. Not this bad during pandemic. Retailers, manufacturing getting hammered everywhere. Got to turn round at some point???
Ignore Porsche he/she trolls the boards on any negative news spouting the usual UK/ Brexit drivel.
According to his latest ramblings from Turks and Caicos or his Monaco apt! (both mentioned in previous posts) UK Plc is doomed, same old twaddle posted on a different board ......
Dogger by all means deramp, but put a bit of meat on the bone. Christ if your gonna give it large, back it up with something.....anything. All a bit boring Zzzzzzzz
On the 16th May RBC Capital markets had a £72 price target on Asos. Glad i don't pay any attention to broker forecasts. These guys are supposed to be experts!
Turning out to a real turkey this one. Shame its a decent company but just no interest or volumes.
No idea why anyone would sell out at these levels. Patience required here, can go back up as quick as it went down if you look at historical charts. GLA
The other day i said this share was like watching paint dry. Zzzzzz How stupid do i look. :-)
Quiet month August, volumes should start picking up sept. Still a lot of value out there i'm hoping the winter months will get my portfolio back in the black. GLA
Spot on BT Superdry brand is stronger than ever. "Frazer group buy out of administration" complete drivel, think Dunkerton may have some other thoughts on that. GLA
If CFO was resigning he'd have gone not stay around during a transition period till end year still employed. If it was all going tits up you ain't hanging around you resign and go. Maybe he don't get on with new chairman CEO etc fancies a change, who knows. Next had a fairly decent set of results the other week with decent summer weddings etc all adding to sales i'm expecting Asos to have similar. GLA
According to the website ASOS have a huge number of vacancies in various locations to be filled. Roles in management logistics IT Marketing etc. That would indicate to me that business is going forward and strong growth, no business has recruitment drives when in distress. Thoughts?
Just a forced drop due to inflation numbers and CFO departure. No real surprises with the inflation numbers and stated sometime back that the board will be reshuffled. Broker sell rating same as last month (never really pay that much attention to Brokers) looks to me a opportunity to flush out a few PI's happened a few times over the last few months. Directors buys £500k around this price . Energy in fashion atm but retailers will have their day again. GLA
Your a ray of sunshine Triumph! think i'll throw myself off beachy head. :-(
Jon your optimism is commendable but dream on. My average is £18.50 and i'm in it for long term rather than nursing a heavy loss. Until some positive numbers are published i think SP will drift. GLA
So CFO left big deal. 8% drop more attached to UK inflation and as usual ASos gets an exaggerated fall. Be up to a £12+ again soon enough then rinse repeat. All rather boring really. Volumes should start picking up next month hopefully share price will settle. MA stake building take overs etc just wishful thinking.
