I wouldn't expect too much from weds the broad numbers were declared earlier to the big boys so i'm not expecting any real surprises numbers wise. Growth projections, margins and forward outlook will be the key drivers........However it looks like a escalation from Putin is unfolding which i fear will have a drag on all equities no matter how good news is. GLA
Mike DND short position or anyone else who shorts on these boards ain't gonna make a single bit of difference to any SP.
Nuri, you were on cmcx results day yesterday talking **** and here you are today on spoons talking ****. The only investor that is thick is you thinking that your inane drivel has any influence on the SP or other posters.
About time we had some decent upside. This should be well over a quid, Vic been bucking the trend in these lean times. I'm a long term holder so all going well i will reap the rewards in a few years time. GLA
Decent well managed company share price been brought down with overall market sentiment. Bounce long overdue.
Quick bounce back from yesterdays drop. Couple of big buys as well. I'm now at a point where i think big news is coming soon. Wish i had a bit more spare cash to load up but my other shares are being hammered :-(
Spoons full yr results 7 oct
Wealthy people are generally the tightest people around. They never put their money into anything that won't give them a return.
Gopher, 100k gain in shell! wow, thanks for posting here with your acute financial wisdom........ I think the only thing you have in common with shell is the suit your wearing posting drivel in your council flat. De-ramper on minimum wage? c'mon be honest. Keeps me amused tho :-)
No it's not Putin it's Truss and her newly promoted prat's that have made people loose their appetite.
Yeah i'm aware of the maybe's but FOXT drop looks a bit excessive. 20% light over last 5 days.
Anyone know why SP getting such a kicking? Now lower than pandemic.
Forgot to mention spoons Margate were knocking out Doombar at 99p a pint. For me they could double the price and it would still be too cheap, think that a price review is needed selling beer cheaper than bottled water.
Patience is key here. All pubs breweries hospitality etc been hammered just like retailers & travel/holiday. MAB Shephard Neame Whitbread C&C Youngs etc all down around 40% not just spoons getting hammered. I was in spoons Margate at the weekend they couldn't wash the glasses quick enough place was rammed. Prior to the pandemic Spoons never reported a loss just a matter of time till things go full circle. GLA
ASOS board have kept the Institutional Investors up to date with the numbers so i don't think they'll be any great surprises. Forward guidance and expansion is where the interest in SP will move. Personally i think the drop over the last few months has been well overdone not just on ASOS but all retail look at halfords boohoo thg wickes AO currys etc. The main problem lies with the clowns in Downing St making the UK look like a basket case. IMO...........GLA
Fireblade ASOS already briefed the market of forth coming results hence drop in SP the other week. "Profits would be at the lower end of forecast" unlikely going to be anything new that market don't already know.
Market has already been given guidance on ASOS results so i doubt there will be any surprises. SP been dragged down today with Boo results as have all the rest etailers not to mention the whole UK market due to our incompetent Gov't.
Paddy, agreed i'll be surprised if Truss & her newly elected clueless cabinet (all promoted for helping her into no 10) ain't booted out by xmas. GLA
English man's home is his castle Paddy. Property ownership has always been a British obsession. Any Gov't that sits on a property crash / repossessions will have a very short term. We're a small Island with a booming population and a severe shortage of housing. 1992 crash the interest rate was 15% and population was around 10 million less, you'd have to be the most pessimistic person on the planet if you think those days will return.
Down 16% in a week. Painful, buy back going well hoovering up on the cheap.
