Very positive RNS re Alaska Aly, one of the few destinations we still have to cruise. Unlikely now as not really interested in flying long haul to get there.
Yes the MSC would find it a bit lumpy . We have sailed all over World and never have we encountered conditions like we experienced in the Channel some years ago, the Captain said similar.
CCL should push on now with more sailing resumption, I’m looking at it breaking £17 and pushing on to £18 by late Summer providing the Indian variant can be contained .

Yes Lloyds which uses Halifax also off. They were doing maintenance over weekend, someone forgot to plug it back in! K

Yes this Indian variant is starting to cause concern in the UK.
Reading this morning that the lifting of final Covid restrictions maybe delayed beyond June 21 the planned date. K

Fair point but George is Prem.
If we could move him upstairs as Exec Chairman and bring in a very strong CEO we could still use his undoubted knowledge and more importantly his contacts in Africa..
The CEO would need to be tough and given the mandate to deliver. K

Basically what I was saying is there are lots of cruises including CCL brands and other big ones like RCL, MSC , NCL etc all operating mini cruises from Southampton.
Lots of work for ABP as short cruises mean more turnaround operations.
A positive sign for CCL holders just need to see the US open up. K
