Cheap but no Caribbean itinerary so just Transatlantic via Canaries and Spain to Malta with two flights.
Great ship and deal but not typical of current pricing . Those TA’s always discounted, we once stayed on board after 2 weeks in Caribbean and paid £625 to sail back and upgraded to a suite. K

Cruise Lines have the scope to increase passenger numbers as they have been running at 50 - 60% capacity. Bookings are strong , I chatted to the future cruise sales manager on P&O Iona last week and he said it was manic. They certainly didn't have any crazy low deals, on the contrary their prices were increased. K

We have heard that P&O are reviewing their very popular Baltic cruise schedule. I doubt they would pass Kalingrad . Deffo not visit St Petersburg and Tallinn and Helsinki unlikely.

Aspersions, that cruise should have been North Europe, Hamburg, Amsterdam, Zeebrugge but they changed it at short notice to Spain & Portugal because of the expected weather! Lol. K

Big storm brewing just in time for our cruise on Saturday . Iona is too big to risk the Solent in high winds so current cruise could delay their arrival or get back early ahead of schedule. K

Hi APR , did you ever get into Premier African Minerals?
I think we discussed PREM early last year and you wern’t too keen but I held and bought a lot more.
Now looking at 130% up on my holding so GUN is my only laggard now so really could do with some positive news.

Just to clarify the First & Club travel was corporate business expenses refunded by company.
Once I retired and had to pay myself and sit at the back, I gave up flying and went cruising. Lol

Morning Aspers.
At one time I had many more Avios but they were all gained by travelling BA and One World airline associates ( mostly First & Club class) hotels etc. Most were paid for using a BA Amex card so only by buying and flying do you get Avios. I'm not aware of any IAG shareholder benefits that grants them. Regards K

EC, there are other things than Covid which can impact travel. I got out of IAG and transfered 200 000 Avios points to Nectar so shopping at Sainsburys for a while . CCL my only travel stock now and I'm comfortable with my holding.
