Only time I’ve ever been barked at was on an internal Aeroflot flight in Siberia.
I’ve bought a few more this morning using up some of Her Ladyship’s ISA allowance. K

Clivey, With 250 shares you hold far more than most individual investors in CCL who hold the minimum 100 required to qualify for on board credit.

Reading in Times today that UK Government considering scrapping two day arrival tests for fully vaccinated passengers entering UK. Announcement by 26th Jan, in time for half term holidays. If they also scrap Passenger Location Form that would make things much easier for cruisers. K

It depends very much on the US. Reading just now that Omricon over there is resulting in far more hospitalisations pro rata than the UK or Europe . Hopefully they plateau and soon see a decline in cases, we don’t want to see further restrictions on cruise lines. K

Have cruised there many times and will again next month. Friend on Iona reckons currently 2500 pax on board, that's 50% capacity. K

Maybe different this time. Some consolidation due in this sector. AV , LGEN etc have plenty of cash. DLG, MNG could be on someone's radar.

I had thoughts last year that AV might buy LGEN.
After all their disposals to concentrate on a few markets I thought they were a nice fit but happy to hold both for dividends in my case. K

I hold both and tempted to do the same but I'm sticking with Aviva. Might chop MNG or Direct Line in the coming weeks. K

The vast majority of CCL UK shareholders are individual cruisers who hold a minimum 100 shares to qualify for OBC very few likely trade them so MMs playing to a small audience I imagine. K

Change to Covid testing requirements good news for travel sector. Hopefully it shows in SP.

My friend was on that cruise and said exactly the same. He felt very safe and was impressed with crew and organisation on board.

Next few months might be tricky but personally I’m counting CCL as a “ rebound “ stock for 2022.

By the way, if anyone fancies a punt on a “ penny share “ have a look at Premier African Minerals ( PREM) A Miner with huge potential from its Zimbabwe , Zulu project which has high class Lithium deposits. I’ve followed Prem for a few years now and it’s been underwhelmingly slow but that’s Africa . Recently things have been more active and the Chinese are buying up Lithium resources so fingers crossed but at £0.0019p not much risk. GLA. K
