There was also a comment that US consumer spending was on the up. All the cruise lines were up on that news. K

Just read crew shortages coming to an end.
US authorities have been slow to issue Visas to nationals of certain countries which has impacted crewing levels. This bottleneck has now been cleared which positive for CCL.
Similar here, P&O have closed some of their premium restaurants on some vessels due to a shortage of chefs. Lost revenue so addressed soon I hope. K

Likely next to be sold the Aurora, 22 years old but very popular with older cruisers.
Sailed 5 times to Guernsey on P&O, managed to get ashore only once. It's a tender port, very shallow and rocky approach so any bit of wind or swell they abort the visit and go sailing on the Atlantic. Sorry about your parents cancellation. K

I've held, bought and sold CCL over 12 years.
Initially I paid £21 but even these paid for themselves with On Board Credit as we cruise at least 3 times a year and enjoyed quarterly dividends pre Covid. Averaged down now to £8.50ish but will always retain sufficient for OBC.
Also have some in Wife's name so she can claim OBC when she cruises with th girls.

They still have crewing difficulties . On P&O Ventura , the premium (( extra) restaurant The Epicurean and the very popular ( extra ) Glasshouse are closed to diners. Both good revenue streams . Shortage of chefs apparently . K

West6809. Hopefully someone comes along and buys them . Word from inside, a very unhappy ship with low morale. Rapid international expansion by Wilkinson whilst losing several big hitters, then retrenchment ( ongoing ) . Those departed big hitters, start new businesses or go to competitors and take some clients with them then poach good staff .. Pretty grim . K
