Topo, Factor in OBC for those of us who cruise with Carnival brands, I see today's level as a bargain. I'm sure lots of Newbies investing in a 100 shares to qualify for £150 OBC on their upcoming cruises. K

Only P&O UK have revenue in Sterling. Most are USD$. Costa & Aida are in Euros and P&O Oz in Aust$. By far the USD$ is nain revenue. Sure UK revenue welcome but as a counter the fuel is bought in USD$. K

The ship was full, all speciality restaurants ( extra) fully booked and the bars packed. K

I tried it in the States, not too bad but prefer my Black Bushmills or a Malt. K

LNG , which some newer bigger ships use is also slightly off but still double where it was 1 year ago.

On the many cruises I've done with P&O, Princess and Cunard you hear "knowing" passengers telling Newbies, they should buy CCL shares.

Newbies who might only cruise once a year rush out and buy 100 shares. Thousands do it, some I know have paid £40 plus and still hold. Me, I initially paid almost £22 but then we got quarterly dividends of £40 ish and I cruised 3 times a year. Since I've bought and sold and now average under £8 but always hold a few hundred. So next week when we do a mini cruise to Amsterdam , if it comes up, to Newbie unsophisticated punters, I'd say, buy at £6 50 -£7 don't expect dividends for a couple of years but worth it if you intend to cruise regularly with CCl brands. K

That would be nice and us LTH certainly due something but more likely to make provisions for expected bad debts in pending recession . K
