Barbados cruise port trashed by Beryl.

Grenada, St Vincent and St Lucia, all cruise destinations hit and this was the first storm of the season. K

Not been on a ship in one but lived in the Southern States ,so have experienced a few.

I traded plywood globally, we loved Hurricane season. Prices ex mill could jump 30% in a day when storms imminent.

I wouldn't discount the impact of storms on travel stocks. We've seen several Caribbean Islands come off limits due to infrastructure damage in ports and airports. Factor in itinerary changes and cancellations it makes the MMs nervous.

Just been advised P&O are stopping their freeze on loyalty status. Top tier passengers who haven't met the criteria for the number of nights in the last 3 years will be moved to the tier below. Lots of whinging on the forums some most loyal passengers rather pee'd off. The most loyal are also likely to be shareholders. K

Bhants, I think HARL will be OK. They have a good order book and seem well run.

If PREM can get through to mid July, the mill should be optimised but the CEO is a BS.

Agree about funds but we do like an individual share, we've chosen ourselves, good or bad.
