Thanks for that, H, but I'm afraid most of it was wasted on me!. Nonetheless, I get the message that it's taking longer than we hoped it would to find something worthwhile. Let's hope they find something soon-it's already a long way back to 20c.
What's going on?It's gone from exciting prospect to absolute millstone.
0.48 on ASX now.=26p
Didn't expect to see us up at the end of the day. Have to be thankful for small mercies I suppose.
OK. So why are we down today with 3x as many bought as sold?
Hello Fiercey-I thought you must have gone into early hibernation. Or are you working extra hard to make up for MTR's sp decline?
I'm not optimistic about Albion going back up and if we do, we'll probably set a new record for least points won in a season. The football we're playing is poor, mainly hoof & hope, although Friday's second goal was excellent., with swift passing and a cracking finish. That's what we need more of not long ball rubbish.
Going back to MTR, I really thought we'd finished with the low 20s. There seems to be absolutely no appetite in the market for MTR shares and we're fast running out of near term catalysts to have any impact. I'm now more positive about Thor, followiing their neww appointment of a new Head Coach, which shows just how much/little belief I now have in MTR. I'll hold a while longer but at some point, in the absence of any significant progress by the SP or really positive news, I'll have to bite the bullit. All a bit depressing.
A big,big deal for SFR-what's it going to do for us?
The problem as far as the sp is concerned is presumably that the figures for contained Cu and AG are lower than in the RNS dated 21st July and ,I suppose. are seen as disappointing Even so the figures seem to have been received reasonably well in Australia as SFR went up last night, albeit by a modest amount. I also share your concerns about what it will take to shift the SP now,.It's been drifting for over a year now. It's only been shifted by IC articles and even those rises have been short lived.
You're all a generally knowedgeable and worldly wise lot so -have any of you been caught out by a few energy suppliers ceasing trading lately? We have and the cheapest quotes I can get are £100/month more than we have been paying. Question is, is this a temporary situation, in which case we'll have to go for a variable deal, or is it likely to be long lasting making a fixed price deal more attractive/less painful. Anyone with any observations?
"I've been........near future". You me and a fair few others, DR
Looks like MTR sold out of PAM and missed out on much of the rise
That's about 300% (or quadrupled) in 2 days! SFR also up again by 3+%, so might have another decent day here. Here's hoping!
Thanks, DaisyRoots. As you say, nice.
PAM up 110% at the moment. Anybody remember what we've got invested there?
We can't do a "gradual rise" because as soon as any rise starts to develop, the sellers arrive and pull the rug away-very frustrating and annoying.
Can sell at 23.8 on HL now, so clawing our way back up, but still a bad start to the week.
