up to the grand challenge outcomes in November I would hope that a fairly consistent slow rise in our SP will continue to flow. 5% a week would see us at 38p come end of October and in a much better place to then capitalise on the hoped for challenge funding windfall and progressing these apparent on-going commercial discussions. On the back of the patent grant, any Pharmas wanting in on the Modi platform tech needs to come to the table to discuss a partnership! GLA
That sort of SP would be good, but not great all current potential considered..... Not saying I wouldn't be glad of the profit at that level, but hoping for deals to come in the next 12months really!! I'll take a push to 1 this year, hopefully just from success in the challenge and landing a chunk of free research money to continuing the progress for deals / TO 12 - 18 months. Maybe optimistic, but if Lindy does scoop the top spot in the challenge it surely has to massively increase our validation and visibility to the big pharmas. But first things first and that's news next week regards OO, then hoping to head back to 20p+ in the short term. GLA
Inanaco, you've highlighted the many positives, most of which I agree with, but this on one hand also affirms some of the uneasy or negative feeling that some have as to why there have been no official approaches for a complete takeover never mind licensing and partnership deals. The market will never see the true worth until a deal is there in black and white, but we are talking about highly skilled/experienced like minded professionals of big pharmas, not PI's. This is my only concern and disappointment.... could SCLP be getting too ambitious and single-minded in their approach to monetise the company and also progress the possible treatments for all involved?
Taken care of and then the potential grant from the challenge IMO the BOD need to make a genuine effort to increase the SP and MCap over the next 6 months...the science will look after itself, but the PR and Mcap growth needs a lot of work. Ideally getting back to 50 - 60p by year end minimum and realistically 1 range would help everything from market/investor sentiment to potential deal/partnership valuations.
The theory (that I do hope is in some way correct) that the BOD have not been happy with possible partnering or licensing deal values lacks some credibility due to no RNS for any offers does it not? If the BOD received an offer of partnership do they not have to disclose this...even if they would not be accepting? Or are they waving any potential deals away at the discussion stage before any firm and official offers have even been initiated by others? There is no doubt that the data that we (LTH and BOD) think is pretty dam amazing is for some reason not getting the same recognition from Big Pharmas. Why is this and why can we not have an explanation from the BOD? If they came out to say, we have and are in discussions with partners and are looking at a valuation similar to the XXXX deal then it at least gives us some confidence and also notifies to Big Pharma what it would take to get BOD to the table! Just a thought or two!!!
from the BOD would be good this week to either back up this funding method as being the right one for SCLP as a company and longer term. A large discounted dilution is always disheartening, but if this is to keep the IP and full ownership of the programmes that little bit longer for even better proved results. Although JC is investing 100K in the placing, a bit of drum banging would be appreciated also.
get here with a TO offer.... !! Although I think because of the deal with Sierra it has probably slightly hampered what might have been a straight TO if a Pharma was interested... unless Sierra are thinking about it. Anyhow, just me getting a little bored with the waiting game, but I guess 'good things come .....' etc Hopefully!! GLA
Takeover wise I'd be happy with 8 - 10p in the next 6 months or so, but should they continue to progress the other lead compounds for another 12 - 18 months and have mile stones etc come in from Sierra I'd hope for double that optimistically on a TO. GLA, looking for the long wait to be fruitful in the short and medium term possibly.
On collab deals or an acquisition - It's not beyond the realms of possibility that a cheapish acquisition deal may be attempted... anyting between 100 - 200m is pretty cheap in this sector and would see sp value from 4-8p. Collab deal would probably spike dependent on up front and then maintain a lower sp therafter (higher than current, but lower than spike of even up front payment) until milestones kick in. ANyway looks like there might be some near term movement and that will then determine things further. It's been a long time coming. GLA
When the idea of a new group and assets was first communicated, did anyone think it would be such a long time being unlisted and unable to get any information from the company? Is anyone still confident that there is actually a re-listing process going on and that our shares will be tradable again? I have in fairness not kept up to the day to day with this one, as no time, but seems to be on a never ending process like another of my shares WRN. I just cant take 2 investments coming back as dud :-(
Thanks for that.
Morning, sorry been busy and not looked in here for a month or so, have we any new info on new listings and resumption of trading for the company? Hope everyone is having better luck elsewhere, glad I don't need invested funds at the moment...its all a bit flat or suspended :-( . GLA.Thanks for any info.
