Heartily 2nd those sentiments guys & all our other 88e LTH's
This year has just flown.
May the New Year, bring on a 34 mile ice road, 2 ice pads, Nordic Calista Drill Rig #3 & a commercially oil rich, 11,500 foot drill hole somewhere up in the Frozen North.
God Bless 88e & all who have ventured on board.
Warmest Wishes

Brom 15:23
Hi Brom,
Just that we have an ice road 3 times longer than Winx & at 1 mile per day that could be January all used up on the road alone. Permit needs approval before the ice road can start.
Same principle applied to Ice pads. Really does seem to be a mammoth task in a tight time frame.
Fingers & any other digits crossed.

Just a bit of light reading regarding construction of Ice Roads & pads.
https://benmuse.typepad.com/arctic_economics/2008/07/what-does-it-cost-to-build-an-ice-road.html
Might give us an idea of timing if someone has the mind to do a reverse calculation of the construction.
Must they build the road 1st or can the road & pads be done together?
The method of construction has surprised me.
We are getting ever closer, my good friends

The Golden Cross is considered a bullish sign; it occurs when the 50-day moving average rises above 200-day moving average. A death cross is considered a bearish sign; it occurs when the 50-day moving average drops below 200-day moving average.
Northwards we hope.

AAI 10:39
From an article by OE Digital which I read a couple of weeks back. I see where you are coming from AAI.
This is expected 2021 but surely the SP isn't going to hang around until then.
1st line, 2nd paragraph - If the Charlie-1 well is successful. The SP goes North. How far? Nobody knows!!
Drilling at Charlie-1 well is the immediate focus heading into February’s spud, while the other conventional targets — including those in the adjacent Area B and Area C — provide future exploration opportunities. Premier Oil is already lining up for a stake in these too and should Charlie-1 be successful, Premier has the option to take a 50% interest in Area B or C by spending US$15 million.
If the Charlie-1 well is successful, 88 Energy along with Premier Oil anticipate drilling a horizontal well in 2021, with first oil production expected in 2024/2025

Where is there a reference to the word horizontal in the following snippit from nextoilrush?
I can see 480 million & I can see Conventional, but alas, I don't see Horizontal.
88 Energy (ASX:88E | AIM: 88E) is gearing up to drill one of the biggest oil wells in the world in 2020.
In one drilling event in February 2020, no less than seven stacked targets will be pierced by the Charlie-1 well, and a total of 1.6 billion barrels of potential will be tested – 480 million barrels net to 88E.
Drilling is expected to take just 30 days. Given conventional targets are being tested here, results will be almost immediate.
This is not a pure exploration drill – it's appraisal drilling for the most part.

Tut Tut, PoG.
Do you honestly think that this successful realist suspects a snoring bed rest?
Tony Durrant, Chief Executive, Premier Oil, commented:
"We continue to deliver on our strategic priorities. We are generating significant free cash flow, which is materially deleveraging our balance sheet. At the same time, we are actively managing our portfolio and selectively progressing growth projects at the right exposure. We also continue to create value through the drill bit and to build material new positions in emerging exploration plays at low cost."
IMHO, I don't think so.
Premier are a success story who also believe there will be further success in working with 88e.
Just my view

Loose change really.
I must say, even with the Charlie 1 drill looming, I am definitely become disillusioned with the company. Not particularly DW but beginning to sense something not quite right.
As you all know from my posts I tend to err on the optimistic side but this is getting very frustrating.
GLA LTH's & anyone who has recently come on board.

DW is creaming the curve nicely though, he will have made another A$200k by the time the drillbit touches down for Charlie.
If we get a presentation in London in the near future Des, be there, look him in the eye & tell him what you keep telling us.
I'll bet he rues the day he ever uttered or wrote that phrase.
