Cried when it slumped back down so topped up again another year later at 2.8p then 3.5p, 5p, 8p, 11p, 23p, 44p, 22p, 25p, 27p and 2 days ago at 35.8p.

Averaging just shy of 25p and do not regret any single purchase.

So, yes, not all long term holders have small averages, unless there holdings are small

An anti-dilution provision is a provision in an option. It is also known as an "anti-dilution clause." It protects an investor from equity dilution resulting from later issues of stock (BHP top up)

The 10% level is not a total permitted holding in this case and Newcrest have anti dilution rights should their holding go below their previous holding prior to the BHP issue hence the reason for exercising their top up rights.

When the deal with BHP went through it would have diluted NCM's holding therefore in order for NCM to maintain its current percentage they have top up rights that allow them to bring it back to the percentage it was holding.

Newcrest have top up rights and due to BHP coming in for a further piece of the pie then Newcrest just excercised their right to top up to the same amount as BHP as per their initial contract
