What 'i think; is that owning the cmpany doesn't mean there's a US IPO happening, not this year, not next. they haven't the resources, the revenue, the company success to find the money to make it happen... so, they have the company! waaay!

there's much more important issues... i think that Metapay is the news to come (aside from 'maybe' arbitration result. Sh'es the local talent that'll unlock the hitch in Metapay and, as soon as they take on the other absent roles with local officers, i think they'll be good to go with Metapay. But will be inteesting to see if/when Bake's offerings start applying to new Polish customers to show further progress.

Getting Metapay, tied to Finferro gives them the perfect proof of 'local integrity' that BoL are looking for. the minute they get MEtapy confirmed and completed by Poland i think it removes significant doubt about the BoL reapplication.

My own suspicion is that Semnet supplies cyber security for GST but has very few, if any outside clients generating much revenue. don't see any real evidence of profit from the $36million. if there was no profit for a $36million contract then it can't be used as a valuation for IPO. no point having $36million contract with zero profit from it!

Semnet feels way too 'internal' with the wife owning a third of the company. always felt like a perosnal gain project that has now failed. i don't see any value placed on lost revenue... just feels like they're (maybe) getting their own cash back... not a bad thing as it adds to the cashpile but that's all.

as long as there are brokers who refuse to sell this, it'll never recover... only way to unblock the share is to move to Aquis... but there's always talk about it. if that were to happen, funding and tradiing becomes a lot easier.

The revenue you speak of is from salaries. but having 50 isn't what is required. GST failed on having insufficient local staffing. they don't need dozens... they need a dozen. they need to show that the business would be run in lithuania not singapore. that's the reason for the lithuanian CEO for GSFintech... fairley sure a few posts have also mentioned other vacancies being advertised over there. They're compliance efforts for reapplication.

in almost every case of your comparison, you're looking at companies that are offering comprehensively more than GST is attempting so don't have the same needs. i think you're picking the most extreme cases to compareL companies with 20 year histories in lithuania or having larger finance offerings.

from what i can see, while slow, the sideways move to Poland gives them time. while there'll be a bigger cost, getting them will easily offset the finance requirments. atm, they probably have cash for rest of year but with some progression, daresay there'll be more placings but... maybe back at the two previous placings?

that's as far as i can go with my own ramps. but if i see other emplyee hires i think that'd be a good cause for some buying optimis... something i'd dip in for...

What i meant was it's 'dead' as far as it's IPO and evaluation, based on a $36million contract that has no real evidence of ever having beeen fulfilled...no profits, no bump in the accounts, no mention in any arbitration updates. it still exists bu the best that can be saif of it is the spend on it might be returned to the company. but, beyond that, i don't see there be any talk ongoing about funding for an IPO, not this year nor any year.

it still 'exists' but it's dead as a revenue generator.

I don't know where you get your belief that it'll takes hundreds of staff and £millions to operate there satisfactorily to get MICA... i suspect that they're quiet atm because they're still chasing specific staff additions. MICA doesn't have an immediate deadline and they have time to find the right persons to show lithuania standing on its own two feet and not operating from some other territory.

while i don't like the way they operate my own suspicion is it's because they have been caught short and know it. the sp is in the toilet and they don't want to say anything that could be an own goal... tiresome for a bb that is constantly talking up the company and their targets but i think it's better thaat the company operates on what this bb could also do: if you've nothing to say, say nothing'. see what develops over the next month or so and see any drops in the sp as a punt opp! not sure i'd take a short atm, though... the spread tells me even the brokers aren't sure which way this jumps!

'is only the closing date for applications'... so it's the last date to apply and from then on it is under scrutiny for acceptance.

whichever it's for, the separation of duties so few posts are held by the same people is a direct response to this.

also, be interesting to see if the vacancy is now filled by a lithuanian resident to 'nationalise the MICA application.

either way, it feels like the company have been 'motivated' to make the moves, otherwise there' no real future for GST beyond July. So, all feels like a prompt to 'interesting times'. and any other rns that happens to come along too... well, just greases the wheels... but have to see if there's any buying interest, even without news.

I also said that whether it's for Sandbox OR MICA that both will require the ssparation of duties, avoiding any kind of conflicts in the operation. my only reall thought about the timing is that the tidying up of the internal workings of GST could have happened at any time in Q1 sotiming it just before the deadline tonight ensures it satisfied Sandbox requirements.

so, while it works for MICA, the 'urgency' for me, at least, includes the stablecoin application.

either way, i'll be interested to see if this or other possible near term rns' bring some buyers into the share... and don't go accusing me of, bs if i were to say something ridiculous like 'i bought on Friday' or something similar, if the sp rises...
