Because they're not shopping for 'something'! they obviously have been in discussions for a german acquisition for weeks. you don't raise a very specfic £4.33million for window shopping... also, the timing with the german ministerial visit meant it was an open goal for there to be an announcmenet to co-incide with that... it was quite a poor show to get german govt. rep in just for a ribbon cutting so have to assume that there's been a hiccup... but the money really should have been the final brick to concluding the deal, whatever it is. and it really, really, really needs to be something that proves pforzheim's tpa is achievable, so it needs to be an asset that makes those numbers credible otherwise, it's just another 'potential'. time to show the markets this is genuinely in production (and i don't mean just 7.9tonnes) otherwise, everything is kicked back by at least a quarter and that won't help anyone.
