Thought they'd either sell Creo Medical or do a placing... they did both!22 May 2026 23:52
For me, it's a genius move, if annoying to lthers (but any more annoying that an 11.25p sp?)
couldn't see them selling CME to china bu that it's gone to the newco. now manufacturing is off the books and design is the focus... fabulous for everyone, both Micro-Tech and CREO.
will take time, though, hence non-binding PLUS placing, with BoD taking 40% of the placing. nothing like having BoD's cash as proof of future.
Revenue up 50% to £6million so top end of guidance. be interesting to see how quickly they grow sales... more selected hospital trials and reviews wont' hurt, either.
might go quiet over the next couple of months but when the cash comes in from CME we're awash with funds to keep it going into 2028 and profits.
can't fault it... only hiccup might be a predatory takeover bid from someone with a price that makes it too big to say no.
Bankruptcy threat is gone, discounted placing is gone, company is now very streamlined... tbh, looking ripe for a takeover from someone like Boston.
