saw in something this weekend that JRS had sold their Kazakh holdings...anyone else seen this ?
pandemonia
ummm...do you think that's how USA aid works? The reference is to UK's WW11 Lend-Lease debt to the USA.. I don't know of the USA taking back any equipment left in the UK postWW11 to help cut the debt; I look forward to being corrected.
40 M people in Europe might not want to pay it back...just a thought. Waiting for that referendum
This is not self-defence , this is indebting Ukraine to the USA for a very long time, which bills , the EU will have to sub , if Ukraine's membership of EU is accelerated. If I remember rightly, UK's last lend-lease payment was 2012....
more like Ukraine makes a nice showroom for USA armaments companies.
if JPM doesn't like ROO because it won't turn profitable until 2024, perhaps they could explain their ratings for various US and other tech stocks. I am happy with ROO's tie-ups , esp. pharmaceuticals....have your obesity drugs and Big Macs delivered together, what's not to like?
not sure why JPM decided on new target of 94...were they in the selling group?!?!
ROO isn't JET , with all their issues.
BOZO says there is no point in negotiating with a crocodile like Putin... I guess he means especially if you are a greased piglet aka BOZO
SP stormed through Barclays "equal weight "target...2.55.
3.00 seems close...results end of July, any thoughts on next target?
Did Malpass have some sort of Rip Van Winkle break? This has been the obvious result of this war since sanctions started...good to know, all bureaucrats, not just UK ones, are so on the ball, not.
It's not a question only of " Ukraine to keep inflicting massive losses on them and then financial cost will do the rest". it is also a question of how much the European/USA financial support of Ukraine will be tolerated by their respective populations, in the face of recession and inflationary pressures brought about by the war.
our central London posties, not RMG parcels, were conspicuous by their absence during pandemic ..over a third elected to stay at home to "shelter". Don't think there's too much support for their striking.
problem of drones usage// robot taxis...legal liability falls with Amazon/Uber etc. and they have to buy the equipment. I can't see Uber going for robot taxis when they have drivers, with own cars paying them a healthy kickback for use of the technology. As for drones, Alphabet's Wing is in Finland, Australia and USA...largely unpopulated countries. Can't see this working in most of UK. I wouldn't want to write the insurance on this class of business.
do you do your own shopping? I feed 3 on less than that, including rump steak this weekend. I do not buy frozen anything other than peas and "mediterranean grilled vegetables" ...useful source of a bit of veg . I am a child of the seventies and my partner firmly believes that if you do not go to pick up your carry out...you deserve to be fat and poor. Oh and I am not vegan which is probably helping my food bills
JPM taking a stake...living in hope
worth a look if you are after 5+% yield
Interestingly MOD contract not mentioned....has the MOD , for once, negotiated aggressive terms?
if you're right...time for Poland to get Lviv?
