So institutions have picked up shares from bondholders who wanted out and PIs who got spooked by the fall. All of this has happened on low volumes and a rise could happen also on small volumes but with PI's returning and institutions continuing to acquire.
Not criticising PI's who sold - they did the right thing and now can come back in at a much lower level. The opportunity seems greater than ever - massively undervalued - of course it can always become even more massively undervalued. patience for me - from now to December the news has to start to flow.

Today the share woke up and tomorrow people will start to notice. the weird thing is not today's dramatic awakening but that it was so fast asleep for the past 3 months. I am pretty sure the move to buy in and post positives was co-ordinated - there were tell tale signs.

Update - we are now sending well over £400 million to the EU every week.
(they send some of it back as a rebate and spend some of it in the UK on their projects - so net it is probably about £240 million per week.)
Perhaps we could spend that on reforming the NHS so that it costs less and is more efficient.
Another piece of information - we have only ever voted for 4 Labour Prime ministers and only given them 28 years in office. 13 of that was for Tony Blair and he pretended to be Tory for most of those years.
In the past 50 years (current 5 year term included) the electorate have only voted in 1 Labour Prime Minister - Tony the hated Blair.
Conclusion - Socialism was an idea that the UK flirted with after two world wars jolted the working classes out of their subservience. On reflection they have decided to return to being a Tory nation as it's for the best. Keir Stamer will lie to his party and pretend to be left wing to get chosen as leader and then copy Tony Blair in steering for the middle ground and stealing the Tory clothes, hoping the public will see them as Tory with a bigger heart.

So the seller has been cleared (of selling) - nothing to stop this now lol.

Hi Capehake - good to you still in JLP after all these years. Understand where you are coming from- the last placing got me selling up but I have faith in the longer term and will be getting back in here at some point in the next few months when the fog clears a little. Tricky game with these AIM shares.

Well worked Trek. Timing might be good. Some buys back above 16p again today.

If the licence is issued then the share price will easily exceed the warrants price at .6p (it already has once today) and the exercise of warrants would provide £750,000 at a dilution of about18% (mental calculation). With the money already raised in the last placing this may be enough for a small scale crusher and bits and bobs on site - this is going to be a contracted out job with minimal costs.

Sorry that was meant to be that a Star Zinc licence would at least de-risk the Sable purchase for JLP.

Nice and positive for JLP holders today as well - let's hope it is win win news - a Star Zinc licence would at least de-risk Kabwe for JLP.

Downside -licence delayed and another placing required in say the Autumn sp 0.3p

Upside - licence, JLP agreement signed and contracts issued. NPV of £60 million (could be more if JLP have problems with Kabwe rights and need more Star Zinc sooner) gives a share price of 10p to 15p depending on how fast they scoop up and truck the willemite. GLA DYOR - don't bet what you can't afford to lose.

Just looked at my share account and my GLR shares have turned blue. Anyone know what that means lol.

I topped kp my GLR holding yesterday. I bought because the placing that I expected had happened to fund through to production (pinch of salt required). Also Colin was ssked at an investor conference about the licence and he said the applicstion was in. Also the mining authorities have a system that turns it around in 90 days (second pinch of salt). The licence is due now. Also JLP last rns described Sable as a processing hub for 3rd party material in the region- more than once. Also an offtake agreement with JLP just needs rubber stamping.
I bought because either they would get a licence or the iminent licence would attract the pump it up crowd.
Licence opens up to agreement and contractors already sussed out.
They may need more money and Colin is in charge. DYOR.
5 to 20 bagger IF it comes off. The odds suit me for a smallish gamble.

p.s. just made my 3rd purchase of GLR shares and none of them appear on this site or Hargreaves Lansdown.

Desert 1 is right - JLP has done well in % terms in rising sp over recent years. The market cap has risen faster as others have pointed out. there does seem to be a battle between greed and fear here - every time the price of pgms moves up the sp firms as the income comes to the fore. It only takes a stabalisation or slight drop in pgms for the share to start to fall - fear quickly takes over - fear of more placings and fear of delivery on the published plan.
I can't see what JLP could rns to mitigate these fears at the moment - as they probably won't be believed - si IF they want the sp to rise I would suggest giving us some income and expenditure numbers that show there isn't a funding problem - it would be unusual to do so - maybe could tag something onto the interims. End of March? Going to read them carefully for signs that cash raising is over and Kabwe waste is top priority for Sable.

Yes Topsharepicks - colin has been much discussed - he is an opportunist who gambles on assets without a real plan to bring them to fruition. he hopes it drops in his lap from somewhere - looks like this one may just do that - all that is needed is a licence. The opportunities in one locality - Star Zinc and now Kash'to for GLR plus Kabwe and the Sable plant for JLP all come together.
The licence - has been applied for (according to Colin) and is now imminent according to the mining authorities timescale on their website.
The offtake agreement has been verbally agreed with JLP (where Colin is on the board and is the founder).
A formal agreement needs to be signed - already written most likely.
A contractor needs to be appointed to mine and deliver - already tendered for we believe.
If the licence lands then it's a case of how fast JLP want the Willemite delivered and the latest JLP rns seems to indicate that it may be being given priority over Kabwe material (only my reading DYOR).
Talked myself into a top up - I think this is starting to gain attention prior to licence.

My amateur charting says the share price has been in a downtrend for a long time and this has not changed. The recent fast fall and bounce back was just a return to the downtrend line. The downtrend is a steepening curve - at some point this will flatten out and the downtrend will be broken.
A return to 40p looks likely IOM and in the fullness of time we could see 25p - I posted this before the bounce back up and see no reason yet to change this.
The trend can change at any time and any decent contract would make a massive change in sentiment. If you are buying now or holding now you do so in the face of the ongoing fall - there are no guarantees from charts.
The company looks really good to me and one to buy for the grandkids and put away for the future - in the meantime it will be played with by self interested groups. NOTE - only replying to your request and all this is just my opinion - don't buy or sell on my advice for goodness sake.

Hi Homeytheclown I have pgm profits doubling and chrome making a very small profit. Without Kabwe and the expenditure on purchasing chrome and pgm rights from placings and using up all the profits I think JLP would be 7p by now. The uncertainty which I believe is holding back the sp is how the cash flow is doing - will they have enough cash to meet all expenditure - looking better with every time pgm's rise but still a bit of a worry to new potential investors. A second concern is the plan for Kabwe - it was going to supply waste to Sable to make JLP millions - is this still the plan? The latest JLP rns states that Sable is a central processing hub for 3rd party materials in the area and this has caused confusion and concern to potential investors.
I only have my own thoughts to back this up - I am a potential investor who is holding back until we have some clarity on the above two concerns. love JLP - don't trust the Board due to past actions and a lack of clarity on finances and the ever evolving strategies.

Nope - wrong luckyorange - not trading it - not de-ramping it whatever that means - does it mean opposing a ramp or maybe undoing a ramp. Talking the share down maybe? Just making an observation - the movement in the share price has nothing to do with the fundamentals of the company - it is a plaything now.
