I assume it is Xenor , interesting to me because JW said they are back on schedule and if that is the case then they must be close to receiving a staged pyt which is important for obvious reasons.

I'm no expert on ships but looks the same as HMS Quorn when in active service , minus some of the funnels on top. Am aware they bought another ship to use as spares that I assume looks similar.

Does anyone know cost for tug hire approx to move stuff from Belfast to Appledore / Methil / Arnish. In other words will these tugs self fund throughout the FSS project. I haven't a scooby even on rough prices of cost to build.

Appledore appear to be on a recruitment drive , design engineer , HSE officer , QC officer , HR , multiple trade roles . Would the Isle of Scilly ferry be built in Appledore if we were to win the contract ?

Towards the end of April JW mentioned in a webinar bidding on tenders for Sea Rose and the Isle of Scilly ferry.

Doing a bit of digging and it would appear the Scilly Steamship company secured a loan of approx 32million , supplemented by gov funds earlier in April 23. The design was completed I think in 21 by BMT. JW seemed to believe we stood a reasonable chance. I think , may be wrong , that it is the MOT who will manage the tender.

Anyone seen anything on Bidstats yet or have any further inf to either correct me or add to the pot ? Thx

I think we will discover with 7 years under his belt at Maritime UK , over two of those as chief executive that he will prove to be worth his weight in gold. Personally like his written style and he is already very active promoting Harl. Be it here or elsewhere watch his career accelerate imo.

Thanks Neil , reflective of senior mgt like shareholders not happy at all with the way the board choose to run the company. I strongly suspect they are as secretive with their staff as they are with us , thereby making it nigh on impossible for a COO to fulfill his role to the best of his abilities.

Reread Broomtrees to you. You must accept that whether the blended profit margin is ultimately 15 % or 24 % that employees salaries have already been accounted for in the bottom line number.

In your example utilising the 15 % profit margin you then deduct again 1000 employees at 35k. It is a schoolboy error and has imo lost you any credibility .

I am well aware that you are aware of your fundamental error, that immediately HALVES the annual outgoing you quoted. Just behave , the post is ridiculous, of course the books don't balance with your creative accountancy skillset demonstrated by your post. Hope you are aren't applying for the accountancy post advertised at Arnish / Methil , more than basic numeracy is a prerequisite.

Agree the potential is huge here , the fundamentals look good , three potentially transformative deals on the table and the CEO supported by a very experienced CFO.
