Hi all, Some interesting views. My thought for today relates to the huge increase in the supply of shares from tomorrow. If these holders decide to sell the price could drop. On patented technology I’m sure today’s rns mentioned this. Anyway gla.

Hi, I think it was quite positive, the warrants are like a bonus so I will be taking up the full entitlement and will try to buy some surplus too. Reasons for this in addition to the warrants are as follows; Like what Hamish is doing over at GUN, like the fact that Nigel is now on the board. Additionally someone bought 7% of the company recently so they must have done some research and liked what they saw. All of course in my opinion. GLA.

The only time the OO might be worth taking at the moment, in my opinion, is if you only want a small top up and your trading costs would exceed the difference in price between the ask and the OO price. My trading costs are �5 per trade so if I only wanted an extra 50 shares it would work out better to use the OO.

My take is as follows annoyed I didn’t cash in two weeks ago but was holding out for the launch. Aim lesson learned if you can de risk do it. Next dilemma top up next week, if the price stays this low then probably worth the risk. Reason being that I like what the company is trying to do nothing more. Gla.

Hi Qd22, I cant claim to be an expert, but my thoughts on your questions are as follows, My concern is based on 1. The 10 to 25% spread there has been since December. Varying enormously, but usually over 20%. Are they trying to restrict trading, and so hold down the price? I think there are not a lot of shares floating about therefore to protect themselves against loosing money the MM's are keeping a wide spread when compared to a blue chip such as Lloyds. 2. The quoted SP has frequently been outside the ask to bid spread. What does THAT mean? As above if it is nonsense info it may be to restrict trading. I think when you buy or sell as the spread is so wide you get offered a price and then you need to make up your mind on whether to trade. I don't think the MM's will want to restrict trading as they will aim to make a margin on any trade. 3. I may be wrong, this is where I am certainly out of my depth, but it has seemed to me that while since December the company has certainly been a going concern, it has been valued at way, way, way below the value of its very valuable and saleable assets. I think the value reflects the fact they are loosing money still and although the launch risk is gone there is still significant risk. Valuations are in my opinion based on many things and until there is evidence of increased sales the price could stay depressed. 4. Last night I watched the launch through from lift off to after the separation and after the successful separation the relief of the faces of the Avanti team was very very obvious. So clearly a great deal hung on it. OK, there is still a way to go, but it looks like they are over the biggest hurdle. Any asset is always at some kind of risk, but that on HYLAS 4 has just decreased enormously. Did they say that it would more than double Avanti's capacity? And that capacity is what they sell. Yet the SP has not moved an inch. It was interesting viewing, I too thought the price would have moved a bit today but hey that's life. Good luck hope my answers were of use.

I think some of the shorts could have been fund managers hedging the downside in their long positions in LCL ahead of the takeover and would be closing them now that the merger is complete. I could be totally wrong.

Slonky, If we knew the answer we would all be rich, I think a successful launch removes one big risk the Company currently faces but if it is successful they do still need to do the important bit which is sell the capacity on Hylas 4 at a price which is cash generative. I am hoping for better sales performance after the launch based on the following extract from a recent RNS "In addition, there is a large infrequently recurring transaction in the pipeline that, if it closes, would add a further $40 million to Group revenue, with $18 million of associated costs, in the current year. With effect from the end of the current financial year, the Company expects substantial growth in revenue driven off the introduction of HYLAS 4 to the fleet opening up new markets in sub-Saharan Africa. The big thing for me is to complete the launch successfully and then follow up with news of new contracts for HYLAS 4 bearing in mind the re-financing is almost complete. GLA.

Totally agree, reporting almost down to the standard of the BBC. Hoping for good news next week with lift off for Hylas 4 etc, GLA.

Willec, I won’t profess to be an expert but I think if another RTO is announced this will probably go back in to suspension. I have a bit of confidence in Hamish due to his work with GUN and can’t see him wanting to fail. There is a mention of an open offer to top up which is positive, but these things take time. Personally I’m happy to be patient for three or four months after that it’s squeaky bum time. I think the GM was cancelled due to bigger investors talking to HAmish and co. Anyway good luck

Something is clearly going on behind the scene's as the announcement says following discussion with certain shareholders. Im not sure this will tank on Tuesday, I think something is brewing would like to know what though.

Hi Cassius, Yes I agree I think that could be a downside risk for the short term if the former bond holders are selling out.
