IG I presume your asking Mr India? He appears to be in bed, may I?
No.
JRDC, AVCT have a £55m CLN, why would you expect it to behave any differently? The conditions are far more favourable than Hemo struck with Mint a few years ago but its never about making shareholders better off its about churning though vast sums of money at shareholder expense as quickly as possible. Setting aside the CLN, which is difficult as honestly the SP there is never going to "moon" until its gone, you have mCap. Hemo is what? 14m, Avct is? 180m? its easier for Hemo do 100% on news than Avct purely because of the numbers HOWEVER it works against Hemo when needing to raise funds, AVCT has no problem doing 2-3m placings every other month where as HEMO struggle to do that in a year.
The fundamental issue here is liquidity, it does not matter if Hemo were to go to Mint, Peterhouse special placings or even using Heights Capital Ireland LLC as per AVCT, no issuer will offer substantial amounts to Hemo at ANY discount because the mCap is too low and therefore there is no liquidity to churn stock. Hemogenyx had a failed placing attempting to raise £3m, the share price was too low, the mCap was too low, the headroom was too low.
AVCT may not be a penny stock, but neither is their SP north of £2 or £5 so they too are excluded from many investment opportunities in the USA, discuss this with their board and ask if its true.
Hemogenyx will need a few million, I guess 3-5m, Vlad has asked the market and the market has said no, throwing a bigger and bigger discount does not suddenly make it more likely. HOWEVER being only 14m, about to enter trials with a CART-T for oncology with a very high chance of success in Phase 1 represents an incredible investment opportunity for speculative investors in the the US, believe me or dont but I am told by people I trust that many of these investors, be they funds, companies or others, point blank cannot invest in Hemogenyx as a penny stock.
Getting rid of penny status is not to make hemo more attractive, it already IS attractive, lets face it the upside is huge when they are funded, but BEING 1P MAKES IT SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE, there are laws, regulations, covenants and rules. AVCT wanted 55m to fund years of development, Hemo want a few mil to get the first few patients through phase 1....
IF these ARE speculative investors would they want a discount? Surely they want to maximise the upside on success, that means warrants vs a discount now that is pointless if they cant sell due to liquidity.
I apologise for the essay, truly, but I hope more people can follow the logic instead of just assuming every funding related update is bad. That is not true, funding is the number one issue here and it must be addressed. Vlad MUST convince these investors to invest AND HOLD. Nothing is guaranteed and none of this is possible unless we all vote YES.
