I imagine talks over CDX have went something like this:
Vlad: So do you want licence to exclusive rights for CDX or not?
Eli: Yes, how much?
Vlad: Lots.
Eli: But your company is only valued at £30mil, how about we pay slightly less than lots, say £250 mil and buy the entire company?
Vlad: No.
Eli: But you want us to pay MORE than what we think we can buy your company for JUST for one product?
Vlad: My company is not for sale.
Eli: Please Vlad, your MCap is only £30mil we will gladly buy the entire company and save licencing CDX, CAR-T, Lupus etc all seperate!
Vlad: Let me think...

Eli: If we licence CDX for 100s of millions in upfront and ongoing milestones thats going to drive up the price of the company and make it harder for us to take over down the line....
Vlad: And your point is?
Eli: So your saying we HAVE to licence CDX there is no other way?
Vlad: You either Licence or dont and we go somewhere else, or start adding zeros to your what your considering would even come close for a take over.
Eli: Fine.... But we want mates rates on CDX.
Vlad: Done.

They are about to either sign a lucrative licencing deal with Hemogenyx... or not. What Eli Lilly do next will have a massive impact on the direction of the share price and that is market sensitive information which does make them inside for the purpose of share dealing. The term insiders can extend far outside employees of Hemogenyx. IE if there was a placing in a company, any investor would be made inside before they were even told about the placing.

Don't legally think as insiders Eli can acquire shares on the open market even if its a negotiated transfer via CLN converson, but might be wrong.

Wow people here are so impatient.... (Pre Covid) Did you go up to EasyJet and complain they had not taken off yet even though it was 3 hrs before the flight was due to depart? Do you phone royal mail at 5am and complain your postman had not arrived that day yet? Either you believe that Eli are taking the option to licence or you dont, fact is they still have well over a week to decide and lets be honest here, when your talking about a multi billion pound company vs Hemo, if they turn around and say they need a few days extra Vlad is not going to walk away.
This is a relationship between Eli Lilly and Hemogenyx its not a straight transaction, they have not approached them offering to sell a pre-packaged product with original box and instructions. They have been working together for years and made this product together, they are also working together on a completely separate product for Lupus. Anyway, have a good day everyone :-)

Pumpkin gets another chance to sell at 7p :-)

Dr A is probably the most altruistic investor I have met, he is extremely successful and rather than use that position of financial power or social media presence to try and profit at the expense of others he without fail includes others to level up those who chose to listen along side himself. He wont always get it right, but you can trust he is being honest and not out to deceive.

All I can say is OUCH across the board, anyone got a blue share on their watch list today?

@dgbell7 I signed up for the placing long before the spike on friday, believe me it came as a surprise to placees too, the fact it was a 40% discount was not intentional. I wanted to buy some shares at a small modest discount and thought the company had real potential. The fact is the placing price was fixed long before fridays high closing price. I get that it feels like a bit of a sucker punch just when your feeling good, but just remember, people signed up for the placing BEFORE fridays surge. Anyway, when directors are taking shares not salary they clearly know whats going to happen longer term with the SP.... Follow the money, watch the directors.

@Evan3020 The SP is NORMALLY mid way between bid and ask, the closing SP should be 0.555p, half way between 0.55p and 0.56p. But the SP that is displayed is 0.52p because there was an uncrossing trade of 0.52p after hours. When we open in the morning the SP will be 0.555p so it will show as + 0.035p.

Of 5.2p where as the mid is 5.55p, so this will open blue and blue starts always induce buying.
Interesting that the SP bounced so high considering that on open the bid was 0.2p and I believe I saw a 0.1p on the bid at one point. The opening 0.2p was nothing more than a slu7 drop and will have triggered ALOT of automated selling by way of CFDs/spread bets/stop losses etc (I know, I got a margin call alert but it was not forced closed as I had a big margin). The fact the MMs swallowed all the unplanned sells and STILL we end blue?
Wait until those unsuspecting sellers who will arrive home tonight to find their accounts empty of shares will react... They cant sell so either they take their losses or they buy back in tomorrow higher.

It was a good listen, except vlad left his phone on loud and got a call in the middle :-D but that aside looking strong as a company :-)
