RE: Your thoughts6 Apr 2021 18:55
@Stonk, could happen in hours, or they have months, until they take the option they have not taken the option, the actual 11th April deadline was for them to decide if they want to take the option and enter into negotiations or walk away. but its very hard to say they WILL take the option as this is conditional on a licencing agreement both sides agree on.
@B1ll re-read your post, you deserve a bit more clarity, whilst your reading is reasonably accurate you are playing on technicalities which although may seem sound at first are not relevant. Eli had 3 months to decide if they want to take the option or not, your right the words "We are taking the option" have not been used, but as I explained they cannot say these words, its just not possible until the agreement is ready to sign. What they would have to say is "We are NOT taking the option" which would then trigger 3 months for Hemogenyx to decide if they want to enter negotiations with Eli to inlicence from them any advances made together. That would be relevant market sensitive information and they 100% would have to say that in an RNS. I am 100% confident that Eli Lilly have decided that they WANT to inlicence CDX and that is the basis of negotiations, I believe that fact is more than clear in the RNS communications.
Because this has already been communicated any shareholder should feel free to ring up, email or even tweet Hemogenyx and ask them directly "So Eli are in negotiations with Hemogenyx, is that because they want to take the option or are they walking away and Hemo want to licence from them"
But please feel free anyone to embarrase themselves and ask, its not inside information, its confirmation of a belief based on an RNS, Hemo will be able to answer that question, I would and I would post the response here but I have no intention of doing so as I suspect the answer will be one of the following:
Laughter
"Are you serious"
"Yes....."
"We thought that was perfectly obvious"
