Just get 50k separate.. Is it really that hard to keep it tidy?
The clinical trials protocol was complete as part of the IND. What happens next is a hospital has to adopt the trial and begins recruiting patients. That's up to Penn, they could launch the trial tomorrow or they could take weeks. But they are nor going to start the ball rolling until CH was lifted. In terms of time frame we are absolutely into the fun zone, could turn up on clinical trials dot gov any time.
The current SP has zero reflection on the science and value of the wholly owned IP and pipeline of Hemogenyx which IS worth multiple 100s of millions. The SP is a reflection only of market sentiment and manipulation caused by traders and shorters who just had more firepower than the LTHers and shareholders who support the company. The manipulation feeds on uncertainty around future funding and lack of visibility. Should Hemogenyx sign any sort of JV like that or secure any sort of agreement or funding arrangement that removes the doubt and additionally improves visibility then the shorters and trolls basically lose. It only has to happen once and would allow Hemogenyx to move to a more realistic SP which at this point should be 300m+ mCap or atleast 15p+
Which is why many of us are here, its not for the 10% some people want, its the 1000% that WILL happen at some point, those who are short have to get lucky every day, LTHers only have to get lucky once.
Better hope he is a shorter, my left testicle is bet on it! Think I'm safe, more chance of pumpkin winning the Miss France beauty contest than him being anything else 😝
I will be doing a bed and isa at 8am when the new year starts 😊
Going to presume this is the owner of the shorts we have seen:
https://www.lse.co.uk/profiles/theoldmoot/
How many other profiles is he posting under here I wonder? Anyway as I have said before nobody comes out of hiding to post on a board, now regularly, ESPECIALLY a share they are clearly not invested in... Unless they have a vested interest. I would bet my left testi that this bell end is shorting, if not he is just a very sad and pathetic individual. Happy to call him out (or at least this current incarnation of his profile), but he deserves ZERO attention in actually engaging with anything he posts.
Anyone who engages with you is a fool.
HT, your garden will never flourish if you cut down every green shoot for being too small.
What's that? Like 200 trades of 1 share???
I do wonder what the end goal was of those who in the past few days decided to short. Did they think "Hey! Vlad just did a big placing and used up most of his headroom so ofcourse he is about to do ANOTHER placing?" Or maybe they thought the company is about to go into administration with the clinical hold and no cash.... err...
Or is it just an ideological short? Someone who is opposed to Hemogenyx saving lives? Like one of those groups opposed to vaccines or blood transfusions because of you know.... God wants kids to die... and brimstone?
Nothing is hindering or standing in the way of HEMO-CAR-T clinical trials, progress on CBR however is curtailed as Vlad cannot splash the cash.
Waiting for pumpkin to come tell us not to blame the traders or shorters...... would we be in this situation today if the company had been able to raise 10m+ at 6p?
Think if anyone acquires 30% they are obliged to put it to a vote to shareholders to acquire the remaining 70% at the 12 month highest traded price? Not sure it's been a while, and not suggesting it's likely, but it is a valid concern.
Condom what i mean is I view the incredibly low current mCap as a risk from takeover, how likely? Who knows but CAR-T licencing deals are 500m+ even in early phases so scooping it up for 20m would be a good move. Not worried about the company not being able to raise money, have heard plenty of times that Hemo have had approaches over the years bur it's Vlad who says no. But if he has no choice? If its between shutting down CBR or signing a deal he is not overly happy with? Anyway he has options I'm certain, and whatever option he choses will be for the benefit of the company and shareholders.
Anyway, it's clear the recent drops in past few days are due to alot of shorting. Have to give it to them they have balls, but they have to close and they are taking a big risk every day that passes. The SP is higher than it looks, the shorts are just deferred buys that MUST be filled.
Not being funny.... but next you will be telling us the pope is Catholic :p
Tilly these are new short positions on interactive brokers, like 1.5m spot on 1pm , 700k or something 20 mins before, some after. So it would be in addition to any shorts open last week.
Technically anything is possible however likeyhood is extremely low, from memory at the time when the CLNs were lifted directors threatened to leave if he ever considered CLNs again :P However fundamentally CLNs are practically impossible for what Vlad needs. They are nothing more than wrapped up placings in convertible notes, the note holder needs to have confidence of being able to offload enough to fulfil the note value. The existing headroom is 5% be it for CLNs or placings, and at this SP that is not enough money to do anything. No lender is going to enter into a CLN agreement when the mCap is already so low and if they did they would not offer him any more than he just raised in that placing. He learned his lesson with CLNs, he wont repeat it, and even if he tried the money is not there.
The shorters and traders have done a good job on the SP, they have made it impossible to raise the levels needed via placing or CLNs. He has many options on the table however, JV, Licencing, Grants, Barda, secured loans (see: https://www.fiercepharma.com/pharma/bluebird-bio-secures-175m-lifeline-hercules-capital-support-its-three-pricey-gene-therapies ).
Not sure if this link will be removed or not... Anyone who does have an account can go on and see the the short activity on IB today... Basically between 12 and 13:30 there was just over 3m shares borrowed and short sold, spotted a bit of weakness, lots of negativity on here and clearly went for the jugular hoping to push it down to 1.5p. Be interesting to see who posted at that time...
Seriously though.... total volume today is 11m and someone decided to invest in 3m to short??? When you are shorting 1/3 of the total volume you are taking HUGE risk for what? How much profit is that going to make? If you dont like Hemo then go somewhere else and trade and short.
Still, thats 3m sold at a loss that needs bought back, better hope no JV, no licencing deal, no grants, no barda, no announcement of start of clinical trials... Tick Tock!

Vlad has stated he is seeking outside investment, but on the right terms, dont forget, Mint was an external investment, and we do not want to see CLNs again... I think the issue is with lots of funds such as the new york grant which Vlad did not apply for last year have restrictive terms and conditions, Vlad would have to demonstrate what the money is for and provide updates, IE give up control. A placing when its only 15% dilution that gets him over the line for CAR-T allows him to retain total control and ownership and could well be the wise decision, doing it at 2p however was stupid and unnecessary.
Watch the last interview he did though, he says he is seeking alternative arrangements, he discusses JV, partnerships, government money etc. The recent placing and the market reaction the last week IMO was the nail in the coffin for placings. Vlad does not have the option of turning down outside investment any more. I agree the science is great and agree its better to give a way a little of something if it means getting to the finish line faster with whats left.
If you have a history in corporate finance message the man, highlight your experience, the risk to the company as it stands today and waht your advice to him would be. He does actually read emails, just rarely replies to them.
Good Bline, more people need to keep shouting and screaming, the webiste is a joke and should be addressed immediately. The SP being so cheap right now IS the biggest risk of the company, its too low which makes it vulnerable and a company is not just about the science they have a duty to ensure fiscal health and that means addressing the market when appropriate. They should be taking steps NOW to speak to the market and clarify their position and shut down this negative drone which has just dominated this board for weeks now. Completely masking the fact they are so close to trials and have a complete game changer in CBR.
