The position on IG is the number of shares and not number of people, in theory it could be one person, it is very likely a small number as Jonny says because not only are tehre not that many idiots out there but also to short you need a professional account. IMO most of us are not professional traders, and even if you could qualify be very careful before deciding to do so.

Differences?

Benifits - You get better rates, better access to tools and support, access to short selling, better leverage, for £1 you might get £4 leverage instead of £2...............

Downsides? You lose ZERO balance protection, for me if I use spreadbetting *(to avoid tax) and SP went to 1p I would lose everything in my account, all gone, no monies, sad face. If I was a professional???? I would go negative, I would owe the broker whatever money I am down in the margin call. Going long this would never be more than like double the money in the account at absolute worst case even if I didnt have zero protection but did have low leverage. If I went short without zero protection?????????? Go short with like £2000 that represents like £10 per penny movement, SP goes back to £18 and your down £12k. putting in £10k in a professional account probably lets you short maybe £100 per penny movement. SP back to £18 = £120k loss from just £10, brokers like IG will try and close before then but if they are unable??? Its the shorter who is liable.

This is what we are working to repeat.

The actual numbers are much bigger however, 22% is somewhere around 60k shares, thats a total of around £600 per penny, either one person or multiple, but lets assume we do move back to £18 and your going to see losses of £700k.

Whats going to happen in the coming days? Weeks? God knows, but be aware that those who are short are exposed, they are taking a big risk, they have my complete and utter support to go balls deep. If you can find a share to borrow and short? PLEASE DO!

The days of this share being shortable are over, they just dont realise it yet, the TOXIC warrants are gone, those held by MMs and brokers and traders, the get out of jail free tokens have been cashed in. Neither is Vlad returning to brokers for direct placings, no more PeterhouseSpecials, so again, any shorts? Not going to be closed out by discount confetti.

So what? Why short? They THOUGHT they would get one of the above, aint happening. Now? Better pray the trials dont go well, because other than that? Anyone short is screwed and there is no way in hell that IG are going to just say "Dont worry about that negative balance, its cool".

Bottom line is traders dont hold, they will buy and hold for a few days, maybe a week or so but thats it, looking for the gap between the last placing and the next positive news likely to push up the SP. Thats where they live. Right now? There have been no forecasted dates for anything? Happy to be corrected but IMO there is nothing in an RNS that on the jumteenth of Rovember the company will deliver XYZ? In theory a completely new trader looking at the recent RNS's could not pick a date and think "I shall buy 1 week before that for a trade".

Along side that you have plenty of the same traders who obsess over funding and will always just assume the worst in efforts to protect capital above all else, never buy when there is a risk of placing is their mantra.

Lets just face that and accept it, traders have gone, most are not interested, GOOD. There are also plenty of them who saw the Prospectus and didnt realise that often whats written in a Prospectus is open to interpretation and went short, that is also good, an open short is just a delayed guaranteed buy, and WE can force those buys by causing a short squeeze, just line up enough people to buy at the same time, use lots of limit orders take out the MMs and you can force the shorts to close, its fun :-)

But what we are left with now is a much smaller pool of people, many of whom know each other who all talk, have seen the interviews, done some research, know the rough timelines, know roughly whats expected and when. But we are all locked and loaded, I dont know any LTH sitting thinking "Ill just give it another week or so" I dont think any of us are worried about funding because we know those who stepped in before are always there as a backstop.

Bottom line? I dont think buyers are waiting until closer to news to buy because IMO its impossible to time that, news could drop tomorrow, the leaks are gone. IMO the next update will catch everyone, myself included by surprise, and we will see traders buying in AFTER instead of before for once, and the shorts? They will close, but not by choice :-)

But there are 2 ways of achieving that:

1, Everyone invests, nobody trolls, nobody wastes their lives on LSE dealing with BS, much higher mCap and SP means company are very safe from predatory big pharma, the higher mCap means raising money over the years would have been a fraction of the dilution, nobody upset, existing shareholders happy, company happy.

2, You short or sell, troll like F, try and push the SP down, trade like its going out of business, try and supress mCap and SP, hope for low placings, keep the company vulnerable so the only avenues open are the likes of peterhose and SP Angel. You want the company to stay vulnerable just so you can "have a trade".

Losta and your other names, frankly you disgust me because you KNOW, you ABSOLUTELY know that the damage you and others over the years have done has delayed trials, its put the science back years, its delayed the treatment of patients who have died, its delayed the treatment of CHILDREN. Your trading and those shorting? They are doing it hoping for bad news or people to sell not giving one fig that financial security over the years would have saved lives, no anything for a quick buck. So yes I am here for financial gain but by god you better believe I want to do it SAVING lives and helping Vlad do that as quickly as possible by SUPPORTING the company not acting like a vulture wanting to drag them down.

Your just bitter because you have lost, you KNOW whats coming, 12 monts is ticking by, ASK, JPM, etc.... at some point it only needs one single BP to say "Yea, thats enough, we will support you" ONE SINGLE hand shake and your out, the shorts are out. And now? EVERYONE knows its more likely than not and every day that ticks down is playing with fire for the shorts. Even if your not short your out and you HATE the SP rising because you know the market knows, you know the shorts will feel pressure to close, you wont get your cheaper buy in.

Pumpkin? Who gives a F? What relevance is it how long someone in some unrelated trial lives? He had B-cell ALL. Whoopie! Yea CAR-T works, we know this, thats why we are excited.

One final thought on this, Everyone is focusing on the huge upside from using Made, the scaling up of manufacturing, the speed of manufacturing, running in parallel, technical requirement for JV/Licence etc. All absolutely huge and significant benifits, but the reality is Vlad WAS given no choice here, due to the predatory lending tactics Hemogenyx were forced to pivot, its ironic had the brokers and lenders not been so brutal and made it so difficult Vlad may have continued limping along kept manufacturing in house going back to the market over and over. In that scenario the HNW individuals we attracted willing to pay a premium would never have agreed to get involved, Hemogenyx would have been stuck with the same lenders for another year or so, dilution would have been disasterous for LTH, SP would have continued to tank and they would have continued to bank warrants while we were wiped out.

Greed on behalf of the lenders gave Vlad no choice, lenders who thought they were on the gravy train that would never stop, nobody predicted Vlad making such a violent and singinficant change of direction. Laying off most of his staff, getting rid of GMP, slashing spending, lazer focus on one product to trials. Many people here are content to just wait and not care too much about whats happening in the background, but be aware, Vlad saved your investment here. What he did last year means we are looking at a very very bright future.

So when your looking at other shares and all you see are CEOs ramping like Fudge, pumping like they are working a street corner, never ending placings to pay for new trials, new exciting ideas, new equipment or exploratory nonsense just remember that Vlad has something he KNOWs works, he could have just carried on decimating us with placing after placing but instead he shut everythign down, slashed costs and got 3 patients treated, paediatric approval, transfered manufacturing to a state of the art facility and is now actively looking for BP to pay for it all.

Is the news release here slow? Yes, Has vlad made mistakes on funding in the past? Yes, but bear ^ in mind when you see me replying to stupid childish irrelevant or false posts from trolls on LSE who think this is a game or a joke. Vlad is saving lives, he HAS moved mountains to keep Hemo afloat and what he has achieved for ALL of us is nothing short of award worthy, most of us have realised it, its just unfortunate we have some trolls who want to gasslight us otherwise.

Producing HG-CT-1 in house required approx 12+ perminant staff plus GMP certification of a lab which required a 1 month annual shut down for deep clean. When trials were running there was a built in restriction of only one patient run at a time meaning your never doing more than 2 patients per month with 12-14 days per patient. Should a sample fail a test then a new batch is required meaning you cant even run 2 patients back to back incase there was a problem. This meant with fixed costs of £400k per month Hemogenyx had the capacity to do two but more likely one patient per month. As each cohort was 3 patients and BDSM boards may be required this could mean only dosing 3 patients in the first year which is exactly what ended up happening. Had Hemogenyx retained the manufacturing capacity they yes could have resumed trials at the end of 2025 but its likely there would only have been 1 or 2 more patients. Lets assume 2 additional had been treated had they retained capacity:

12 months * £400k per month / 5 patients = £960k per patient, burning £5m in the process.

When you consider how hard fund raising was last March/April when this decision was made Vlad had a very big decision to make, carry on trying to raise 400-500k per month from lenders like those who had just rapped us with a40% discount, paying salaries for staff who were essential to manufacturing but only for small periods of time OR outsource manufacturing to companies that thanks to Trump had seen demand dissapear with massive available capacity and a willingness to offer discounts to attract business? Hemogenyx now dont have that massive overhead per patient, they have a tiny core staff, no requirement for GMP lab which I think they were going to release or sublet and a manufacturing cost per patient of probably 100-150k ea as and when required with none of the hassle of organsing shipping/transport/testing/paperwork etc.

In theory Vlad could mothball everything except trials, pay per patient, let Made/Prevail/MDA run the show *(Which they will mostly anyway) and just wait for results.

Last year funding was NOT easy, Hemogenyx could have and would very possibly have went bust had they not decided to outsource, but the result???

Hemogenyx now have a fraction of the cash burn and most of that is future looking paying for patients including children on a per unit basis, we are safe from predatory lenders who knew previously Hemo had no options.

And I 100% agree with the other benifits alluded too, but they are not the main reasons IMO. NOW? Transfer of manufacturing from Hemo to Made removes that dependancy from the chain which would absolutely be a requirement for a large pharma coming in for a JV or licencing discussions, its like a petrol station selling cars cheap but they are the only source of fuel for miles, buyers are wary of long term dependance.
