The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
NCYT was absolutely silent after the RNS that shook the sp, storms on LSE and Twitter, total silence. IT WAS NOT THEIR FAULT IT WAS THE GOVERNMENT NOT PAYING THEIR BILLS! And the share price fell even further. Then a strong wave of +ve RNS and product news and look at the sp.
It's the same here. Each to their own, particularly the people who watch and phrase their posts to damage the ODX sp, like they tried at NCYT. Same old people darkly crossing the boards. Hey ho.
Ncyt had a bigger drop, rerating strongly now. I'm sorry if Mike has shares in Ab......
But NCYT is rerating strongly...this will too. Government won't drag its heels on a Scottish contract!!
Sea of blue buys and sp stays low..oh come on. This has been really oversold, it's ridiculous.
From ABDX RNS it states "£5.15m (including VAT) for the 1 million AbC-19™ rapid tests". That's £5 per test to the UK Government can you imagine how much the Consortium will get from other parties for these tests. At 50% profit to ODX we are back to the £3 to £5 a share, SP predictions some seem to have forgotten about right now.
Worth re-reading.
Will do very well going forward...if you want profit in a day, this is the day because the sp will return higher by close of play. NCYT was for the bottom drawer...not any more. ODX is NOT a rubbish company, serious; over reaction here like there was at NCYT.
Jadam you are right, the price will go up again, I have bought again at 68p and will have the profit. Like I posted earlier, I was caught before not reading the market well. Won't be this time.
Sp already risen back, missed it!!
Which will let me buy again, and when price goes back up 15-20p will make a good profit indeed. There is no reason for ODX sp to fall, but investing is about seeing the chances and taking them. I've had a few harsh lessons this year, and I'm not going to repeat them.
Agreed. Unimaginable millions on the Chinese tests, and being slow to pay their UK bills. It's very poor. Media don't seem to want to know or don't know.
So the government orders tests, they are made, and they are slow to pay..odd that AB thought they needed to make that public... Happens rather a lot in industry.
We are a different company!
Can someone out there advise me, why is the sp still so low with all the strong RNS? I bought at 20p, gulp, so sitting on the negative....would be great to see sentiment favour this company. What would it take?
I wasn't online for the drop from £8 to£4...was a shock. I haven't sold a single share. Novacyt will recoup ground firmly and at a steady pace, people will sell if they bought low or bought in on faith at sub £4. N has all the marks of a company fit to be robustly bought by a heavyweight pharma and I don't want to miss out on the financial gain.
I had 300 NEXT shares and did nothing - they went v low but look at them now. Didn't sell any then.
Great communication from Wallbrook, well done for asking. Says all we need to know.
Are those buys, simultaneously??
loads of sells
Sadly I bought into GDR rather higher and lost a lot as it dropped when I had no internet access. Avacta made up a bit. Ygen for weeks has flatlined around 14.5p. GDR plummeted. That is objective fact. I repeat, **** judgement on my part!! No-one need try to attest otherwise.
APOLOGIES ALL, HIDEOUS TYPOS DUE TO STICKY KEYS. Someone please contact LBC Tom Swarbrick and state what you post.
