I'm holding a fair chunk, makes up about 6% of my portfolio. One day I am sure it will be my performing share so I am holding and waiting patiently.

Larky I was always going to wait for the results as I was interested to see what they said. Not sure if today’s RNS will help the SP or not but keen to see. Looks like it is 6% down on opening to me so maybe I was right but as I said I do hope the price goes up eventually. I’ll still hold some as I said.

I’m offloading a chunk of my shares. I’ve realised that although this forum is very optimistic most of the time, the fact is that the share has fallen steadily since late 2018 and every week I pray that the people who post about a big jump up in price ‘next week’ are right and then spend the week getting steadily more depressed. I will keep some shares as I have held them for so long and do hope the price jumps up for the people that can afford to wait.

Guessworx the management team made us £5m every single day in the last year. I’d say they’re doing a sterling job. SP is up 60% too. You might always look for more but I think that doing great and don’t wish to see them leave any time soon.

Genuine question on the strike. Does anyone know the last time that a strike at a major UK
employer worked out well for the people impacted/striking? Would be really interested to know some of the details.

I think that the CWU have played this badly. Either they back down and lose a huge amount of credibility or they go ahead which I would expect the BT managers to take full advantage of and implement changes at a much faster rate than planned. Either way I think PJ has played it really well and is in a win win now.

What ‘damage’ would a strike inflict on BT if it happened?

Would have thought public/customer sentiment would not favor a strike in the current climate and all things considered. Could backfire for CEU?

I read that he's leaving because PJ gave the board an ultimatum 'either he goes or I do' because of the slow pace of change within the organisation.

Just been reading on the BT chat that there could be interest in BT buying/merging with ITV. Anyone else heard this or got any views on what it would mean?
