I thought I'd cheer myself up and work out how long I will need to hold my ITV shares if I am to recover my losses through the DIVI payments. Only 22 years to go I reckon.
Just need to nip to the doctors now and see if they can keep me going that long.
From a base of 62p a 3.5% increase every day for month would take it to 1.46. Good luck
According to the people on this forum we bottomed out about 4.5 years ago when I came in with all my savings at 48p (that is 48 not 0.48). I’m 47 years old and hoping to break even by the time I retire.
Buy today, take the divi and hold long term or buy on Thrs and sell quickly once the price increases. Depends what your need is. I am buying and holding.
'... nobody on here has the capability of influencing the SP'
I think I might, every time I buy them they instantly drop in value. Likewise when I sell the prices always go up.
I invested in this share based on what I read on this forum (before I understood how the forum works) back in 2017 and thought the price had a chance of going up based on all the positivity. Since then I have continued to read all of the positive posts about the SP and vanadium prices and all of us desperate investors hoping that the SP rises to 20p, 50p, £1, £2 etc. and I dearly hope it will go up but my goodness it has been a depressing 5 year ride so far. Please do your own research if you are reading this board and thinking of investing especially if you are new to it (like me back in 2017). GLA keeping my fingers crossed all of the positivity makes a difference to the SP.
I think Hargreaves Lansdown and Barclays trade them
You fill in a form on your HL online account (or you can download it) and then HL pick it up and request the shares from your current broker. One thing it looks like you can't do is to hold them in an ISA due to the market they will be traded on (or at least that is what my broker told me)
Had my letters today from HSBC explaining that they cannot hold my Lekoil shares now that they have been cancelled from AIM. I have the option of having the share certificates or moving them to a new broker (free of charge). If I don't do anything by 16th June they will just send me the certificate by post.
I can't find it. Tried every link on the website but no joy.
Anyone know why HL are showing 0p? The value of my holding is now showing £0. It has been 0.95p since they were suspended.
I try to block people that fill up these boards with unhelpful content (sorry Tom no offense but that includes you). Now I realise that they just fill up with all of the people (me included with this post) that respond to them. Could we all just let people have their say (you can block them if you don’t want to see it) and then not reply and have lengthy posts about that person as it detracts massively from the helpful content that the majority of people post. Thanks DYOR GLA TTFN
My bank have just written to me confirming that my shares are back in my account as the offer was cancelled and I had requested the cash offer the very same day it became available. Hope they get resisted soon so we can trade again (it feels like its been ages since the suspension)
Never seen such a drop on such a big company on such a good RNS. Have read the thoughts on Russian sellers. If it is connected to some big sellers getting out for other reasons how will it take to get up above 120? Will it creep up over many months or jump up in tranches?
Porsche your post is very helpful if I had a time machine. I don’t, so I am just a bit more sad than I was before I read it.
