This board is like watching two tramps ****ing up a wall arguing which one is standing in the least amount of dog**** whilst doing so.
I've lost money here, wasn't expecting it to come off so was punt money rather than a serious investment, but reading posts here thinking they'll be back in profit whilst having a double figure average is just sad and dillusional. There's zero reason to 'invest' here. I'd sell, but my holding isnt worth much more than the trading fee, and seeing the - 90% on my portfolio is a good reminder of avoiding gambling and that LSE is full of ramping penniless twats like merchantbanker, Mr tan, that Walter mitty bloke who thought he was best mates with Colin and kate

We're all holding until dhsc dispute settled, absolutely no other reason, hopefully not much later than q3 2023, no chance of profit now and has been a valuable lesson in greed and the influence of rampers but hoping to reduce the 80% paper loss. SP should quadruple then if favourable, only issue is it could be 50p at the time.

I've not sat through two years of shoite to sell for £3. Stick a zero at the end.

Personally can't see takeover interest from pharma until we know exactly how well its working, which is 18 months off. They will bid based on clinical evidence, not myles' tweets. I'm happy to wait.

Looking at commercial court availability, and fact it will be the upper end of complexity given sums and parties involved, I'll be surprised if theres any resolution within next 12 months. 1 day hearings available from March 23, with trial dates for complex week+ cases from July, so 11 months from now. Applying 11 months from march takes us to Feb 2024. Alternatively a hearing could have been arranged not shareholders not notified, which would be par for the course, in which case add 11 months on to whatever date is given. Obv DHSC or Nova could offer to settle before then but one to put in the bottom drawer for now methinks.

Any ceo worth their salt would nip in to wilko's on way home. Just hope he doesn't go to lakeland otherwise we'll have a placing RNS on Monday.

Thank feck for that, energy. I'm guessing they'll release an RNS in next day or two to confirm covid test has been abandoned, unless they have already and I missed it. MMs might drop the SP a few pence before it recovers as its actually great news imo, means company aren't distracted by a now pointless avenue.

Avacta aren't being sued though and have ava6000 going through p1 trial, so far exceeding expectations, and could be a game changer for some types of cancer. They also have a couple of commercial partners with potential to bring in millions, and other drugs in the pipeline, and own the ipr to affimers which are gaining attention.

Nova board are more interested in trying to get pay rises and figure out how to pocket as much of that £100m as possible. As soon as dispute settled, I'm outta here.

They didn't give a **** when GM was in charge (and he publicly stated that 'shareholders are not his priority'), that was when the SP was on the rise so we ignored that comment. Dave has taken that the next level, BOD see the £100m bank balance and are trying to work out the best way to get that in to their pockets rather than acquisitions. Id rather the DHSC win court case than the board steal it as bonuses or higher salaries.

No doubt this post will be removed too as per my other ncyt posts that don't scream '£50 SP by Xmas!'

If nova were confident they'd win the dispute, they'd have spent a good chunk of the £100m on acquisitions already. The fact they're not touching it, haven't even mentioned potential targets, have gone quiet and keeping shareholders remote tells me theyre not exactly confident they'll succeed. In fact, wouldn't surprise me if privately they've been told its likely dispute will go against them given the shenanigans that have gone on, and the deceit to attain approval.

I'm in too deep to bail out now, no chance of my £4.50 average ever being seen again, all about damage limitation and hoping someone comes in with a £2+ offer.

I joked back when sp had crashed to 18p they should do a placing at 10p just to get some value.

No point selling now, interactive investor trading fee is nearly as much as my shares are worth. Shame, was hoping to buy a nice steak and a bottle of 1986 chateaux De colinking with the proceeds, might have to settle for a bacon sarnie and a can of skol.

Nova might end up with even less cash than ODX if DHSC wins the dispute and their counter case. Hence mcap being equal to their cash in the bank, there's a good chance dhsc will win a huge chunk of that back. If nova are left with £20m I'll count that as a win.

Agree, and its why Nova haven't been splashing the cash on acquisitions or rapidly expanding R&D- they don't know if the cash is 'safe' yet. Even more annoying is the fact the contract nova signed doesn't allow them to apply interest or penalties to late payments from DHSC, so theres no urgency for either side, but DHSC in particular, to resolve. GM really fooked things up.

Awful week, dispute resolution could be 12 months plus if going through courts, many of us hoping for a good outcome so we can sell out at a minimal loss, DHSC seem confident enough to serve nova papers which doesn't bode well.

What an absolute s*** show. Traders will love this share for the rest of 22, almost certain we'll see all time lows from last 12 months beaten.
