So we know that AG has been an active director with Phoenix Capital Ltd since 2015, alongside Paul Dougan (who was only appointed to the board fairly recently). These are the only two active directors. Dougan clearly has an active role in the company - it appears PD prepares all the companies active and pending simulation reports.
We know AG has background in the renewable sector, and we also know that PSL were originally a renewable energy company, with what looks like rights/licence to Halcyon lighting, which potentially AG now owns. There is a clear link to the Halcyon product and its useability in the solar market, being a low energy lighting system.
We also know AG is director of both coeur and scotia - though both of those companies potentially have less relevance (for me personally).
Phoenix was a £15 million company at the end of 2017s accounts - having been worth more than twice that the year before.
There have been a lot of board changes within phoenix over the past 6 months or so, leading me to think that a potential stock market listing was on the cards. Again - only my OWN opinion.
Phoenix's strategy is 'to deliver an excellent return for our shareholders, whilst making a positive contribution towards the UK’s challenging renewable energy obligation to generate at least 15% of its energy from renewable sources by 2020.' On this basis, we clearly have a very active company with some short term goals, who also say they have a "number of sites" theyre brining into operation in the next 12 months.
Call me a ramper, call me naive... But for me, there is FAR too much coincide here. Credit to Applegarth initially for bringing this to my attention.
HOLD.
