This stock still being manipulated to death. In the last 12 months it's risen by 26% whereas gold has risen by 42% . as this rise would all be pure profit stock price should be at least 50% higher, probably around the $4.5 mark. The sooner we are away from this market the better.

Because gold is at over $3500 an oz. That's why.

CT. I only stated the situation as it is today. I gave no view as to the reasonableness of the actions. But as you brought up the point, how about the western states take over the russian assets sanctioned? As far as I am aware this has not happened. Sell offs have been because of the financial repocussions caused by the sanctions. (It may at this juncture remember why sanctions were imposed).

What is left of Evraz ? The American side has been sold off for pennies, much of the russian part is nationalised (as I understand it). So exactly what is left to be a shareholder of? What percentage of the original company is this?

Though Europe in general may not lift sanctions, with his distain for anything that does not benefit him, one could see America stop arms supplies and possibly even lift sanctions through some weird context or other. (though the supposed minerals deal may complicate this). It would be a very different situation if that happened. It will be interesting to see if any care is taken to redress the losses to western companies/shareholders though.

Correct me if I'm wrong but the figures used don't take into account the near 40% rise in the value of gold, so ore transport costs should be covered many times over I'd say.
