As I have said many times, this is a Polymetal board. Yes I agree that the war is impacting the company but it always seems to be the pro war, pro russ1a group that continually churn this up. That I call propaganda.

You continually infer that all western media is biased, forgetting that there are hundreds of information sources in the west whereas there are very few if any non-controlled services in russ1a, but that does not stop you forever repeating it. If you don’t like replys that do not conform to your narrative, don’t keep raising the matter. It’s not censorship after all, for it happens in your country all the time, and you have never mentioned that as a problem.

You seem confused, if anything potler is the one who has made the most errors, first he assumed that the west would just roll over and accept his invasion and second, did he not say that this NOT war would be over in three days? I don't see Zalensky having to use mercenaries or convicts from prisons. There’s a really quick way to end this NOT war, and that’s for the invading countries troops to return home, so that the killing can end.

I would not lose hope at all. They are a well-run company, with a shareholder focus, trying their best to weather a monumental storm of circumstances outside of their control or making.

I don’t think there will be consensus as there are too many different personal circumstances. I for instance am transferring mine from ii to AJ Bell so as to keep the tax wrapper protection. This does have disadvantages as it’s not possible to trade until and unless relisted on an AJB managed exchange, and I suppose if the company were going down the tubes, a quick get out would be difficult/impossible. Many have taken share certs etc. Others have done differently, as befits their situations and thoughts. All the same, time is ticking on this.

I don't see that. If the war is to come to an end, eventually there will be reparations to Ukraine and her people, if needed from russ1an state owned organizations or finances. Blocks will be removed from western companies that were imposed by russ1a, blocks will then be removed by the west. This will happen as a prerequisite of the first actions. I don’t see it being within a year, but eventually. I'm not saying that trade between the west and russ1a will return to normal, but Evraz does not need that to trade successfully, they only need the roadblocks removed.

Though you are correct regarding abilty to trade the stock in the short term, your advice takes no account of the potential tax advantages if the stock is held in a TAX advantageous wrapper or if the stock relists on the LSE. (As it is their stated goal to do), so why are you so sure that they will not? These factors are I would say, holding and timescale and to a degree risk dependant. So very personal. None of us know Rish's views/details on these things. I would say it's too simplistic to give blanket yes/no answers without knowing these things. I would also say that a transfer to another broker is no big problem without time deadlines as many including myself are transferring them now with very tight deadlines.

I don't know the answer to your specific question, best to contact AJ Bell directly very soon (today is last day I think), sorry.

But having said that, the company has now started the split process between Ru and Kz (if it's not already happened). Main management has resigned from Ru. This should now solve all the present issues. It's their stated aim to rejoin the LSE as a purely Kaz company. This would allow (as I see it) a reinstatement of all normal "LSE" type processes. Whilst with AJB your shares divis will be recieved as before. Tax protection (if in that type of account) will be maintained. Trading will not be possible.

With all the developments in russia, it's difficult to see what value can be generated from that part of the company. Two years is a long time, I would have hoped that Poly Kaz would be back on the LSE by then. But please contact AJB to get it from them directly.

That's not what they told me and others. I have it in weriting too. This is pushing things up to the wire I suppose, and dates do matter. But I would suggest those interested, contact them yourselves ASAP.

Thanks for the info. I'm transferring (fingers crossed) from ii to AJB, all seems to be fine ATM, I know others who are going to HL also. It seems to me that some here don't really understand the implications of loosing the ISA wrapper and it's ongoing protection from tax. It is though as we know, related to ones holdings, domicile and investment timeframes.

If declared, dividends will paid to all registered holders – for example HL/AJ Bell Nominees accounts, but it is reliant on such registered holders either being registered with the AIX CSD/AIX Registered Broker, failure of which the Company / Registrar will not receive the relevant payment details to make such a payment. In the event that none of these are in place, the dividends will not be “lost”, they will be held on account / in escrow with the Registrar, until such payment can be made.

We encourage shareholders to consult their broker (Hargreaves Lansdown and AJ Bell etc.) on how this will affect them.

Do not hesitate to reach out should you have any further questions.

So if timetables/dates do not coincide, any monies will be kept in escrow (safe) until registration by the broker takes place.

I think that I'm right in saying that ii's deadline (for the 16 June) is for the start (registering) of the process. Once it's initiated, it will be supported until it's completed. That is what I think, because if it takes 4 to 6 weeks, one would have had to have started before the vote was taken (nearly?) Please check though for yourself.

I have also asked a question of Poly IR as to the situation if a divi or disbursement payment was to be made during this transfer period. I will post the reply when I've got it.

That is an extra trading week compared to their previous "final" deadline.

As people have said and my earlier post shows..

I have also been told that there may be a small amout of leaway on this depending on circumstances. I would say that it may make the transfer easier if any other suspended stocks (Evraz, Pog etc) are not on the transfer list, as my transfer was turned down by HL (I would suspect for this reason), and others (without those stocks) have had theirs accepted.

Mine was started, (online forms filled in) on Sunday 11th June, so far (fingers crossed still) AJ Bell have processed their first stage and as shown by ii

"Transfer status: In Progress.

The next action: is required from interactive investor.

Estimated completion: 25/07/2023 (6 weeks)

(based on current progress)".

This first stage took two days, so it may be possible to just scrape in under the wire if lucky. For me it was important to try to maintain the ISA wrapper, others have different requirements, I would not wish to advise anyone. DYOR.

I have found that when contacted, both ii and AJ Bell have been very helpful (best to speak to them). I also think that the management of Polymetal have worked hard to help in this matter.
