Possibly.

They will have to have considdered it when deciding to allow the continued holding of the shares. Maybe they will not say until any potential split because of the Ru component. But if the split occurs then it's a Kaz company paying divi's , and not sanctioned. If it were sanctioned they would not allow continuation of the holding in the first place I assume.

All said and done, there are important questions still to be answered. So I suppose you're right.

There is much manipulation taking place here now as much money can be made. I would respectfully suggest that you or anybody else check up on these things.

I have not spoken to HL since, but mid last week they told me that Poly shares within ii ISA's could certainly be transferred into a HL ISA. Once there though they could not be traded and they did not yet know about the situation regarding dividend payments. I have not checked since. I would suggest that you check yourself as there are some here who out of ignorance or ulterior motives give false information.

I'm not sure it it covers trading acc's because it does not mention those specifically, it just says "accounts". My advice would be to call their support. Trust your oun ears.

Polymetal International plc has announced its intention to re-domicile from Jersey to Kazakhstan. A consequence of this will be the cancellation of its Ordinary shares from trading on the LSE. This is subject to shareholder approval at a general meeting due to be held on 30th May 2023.

If approved, Polymetal International shares are expected to be suspended from trading on the LSE on 17th July 2023. However, our final date for facilitating purchases of Polymetal International shares on our platform will be 30th June 2023, and our final date for facilitating sales of Polymetal International shares will be 7th July 2023.

As the shares will cease trading on a stock exchange we support on our platform, we will endeavour to perform a mandatory commission-free sale of any remaining shares held on accounts on or after 10th July 2023. I think what is being done is a rebalancing of the shareholder base, moving to more institutional and big money holders and away from PI's. They take a longer term view, are less concerned by redoms as it's not new to their managers.

The fact is they are being bought, right now, by someone, and with most brokers no longer allowing buys by PI's it's clearly not them. People are being fleeced.

Where do you think the continuous "russ1a is right, the west is wrong" and highly oversimplistic self serving statements like yours of "Time to talk peace and stop the bloodshed." get anybody? What would your view be if the U.K. (or your home country) were invaded? Would it be give up, loose part of the country and make some money on the stockmarket? Do you think put1n is reading this board? Whilst some here are more concerned about trying to rewrite history, and utter trite Christmas card verbiage.

The simple truth is that those outside the conflict can never understand the angst, pain, fear, determination and courage of those involved. If they feel the need to continue who the heck are we to say otherwise.

All true. It does also depend on the basis of the split and the proportioning of debt. Depending on that, Kaz could be saddled with very little, or a ratio based on relative turnover of the two, or something else. (Unless already set out in filings I suppose).

As the company was a whole before the war, I also don't see the Kaz unit going to that level, but it would be interesting to compare it with other gold miners at that time, based on future expectations, divi's and all the usual factors. (There won't be sanctions of a pureplay Kaz unit, will there?)

I understand your actions, and hope that you did not lose by them. It depends on personal circumstances I suppose. There is much that is unknown ATM but Poly is not Pog. This does not mean it can’t get worse, but people are hoping (me at least) that in a couple of months or so it will all calm down and stabilise as at the very minimum a path forward has been shown on the AIX. Many very knowledgeable posters here have (I think) honestly described their positions. What one needs to be mindful of are the unknowns (we had that yesterday) and the few here who seem to want to sow Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt. I suggest that people ask the powers that be themselves, first hand.

I for one had seriously considering swapping to HL from ii due to the fact they told me of their intention to support ISA and SIPP accounts going forward. This now could be in question, I will contact them again to find out, (though as others have also said, this opinion could be worthless if not on company IR releases).

I remain positive about the management and their handling of what is a terribly complex, constantly changing situation. Remember this is a mining company not a London bank with hundreds of specialists, it will take them some time to work out all of the finer points.

I feel quite honoured to have garnered such venom and hatred from a couple of internet posters. It shows a level of concern (obviously not for the common shareholders) to protect and control their narrative which in my view far outweighs any normal reason.

Simple questions..

Why are these people so vehement and certain when so much is as yet unknown as to the future situation?

Why do these people try to knock down any reasoned other views?

Why are they always so negative about the situation when so much is unknown?

Read what they print, it clearly shows what they want to transpire. If anyone at this time tells you what is definitely going to happen, decide for yourself if you think that's possible.

I do not yet know with any degree of certainty what the process will be, but things that are known is that we hold shares in a very profitable company, they cannot in my view (please check yourselves) simply be "expunged" to no value, changed yes, to what, this has been set out by the company. How the share holders can use this is as yet unclear. But I won't do anything until the waters clear a bit. ISA holding is important (maybe £7K to£10K yearly exposure) but it's not a complete deal breaker all other things considered. I'm not really as worried about shares being "frozen" (maybe I should be) because I'm in this for the divi's and by the time I may be interested in selling, I think PolyK will be relisted on the LSE and my PolyK shares will be have been "(unfrozen)". I am still learning of the processes to be employed in this case, but trust Polymetal management.
