Agree Rik. Last results were ok, but as Richard Staveley said, the sell off because of the war didn't help and the contact centre (which was completely overblown) did the damage. Should never have gone under 400p and should be closer to 500p. Depending on the world come August, the contact centre sold and the CSPS sorted, this should be over 600p. 600p is still a ridiculous price.

Hopefully Trump and Iran get a deal done. This shouldn't be under 400p, the sell off just as the "bad" results were released did the damage (as Staveley said). All on the contact centre. Get that sorted, CSPS sorted and war ended and this rise nicely.

Shorty, indeed Google, Microsoft etc posted great results so this "AI bubble" is just guesswork. It always is, nobody can see when there will be a slump.

If the Fed can cut rates just now, I'm not too sure though, probably too early. Hopefully the Iran war doesn't continue too much longer.

Good to see. Known tactic from shorts to try and push a narrative through the press of a solid company. Behind a paywall so couldn't read it all, but CPI being held account is not a bad thing at all. But this is all just noise. Oasis taking a large chunk counters the shorts argument. Not saying Oasis have definitely got it right, all we can do is wait and see.

Cheers Trisor, Staveley comes across very well and explains nicely why Capita's contract wins have increased and why they will continue to do so.

Shorts in Greggs have also gone up after good results. Were really high (13/14% I think), back to just under 10%, now 10.5%.

This does seem an attack on Capita shares, could be to spook PI's, could be they expect CPI to disappoint. Capita just have to hit their targets, only thing they can do.

Guess it's a "wait and see" eh guys and girls? Obviously Capita will have extremely talented people working in I.T / AI but also "standard" employees (for want of a better word) in the call centres / customer service department. The CSPS has 6 weeks to go yesterday (will be last day of June) and Capita would need to update the market if there was a change to hitting their target.

As you know, I am a little sceptical and Capita have f*cked up on so many occasions, but with Oasis and Staveley, I am hoping at last they sort everything out and clear the deadwood. The "one offs" / restructuring costs, whatever you want to call them have continually hampered this share so I do get the nervousness of some holders.

Potentially Trisor. But also high at Greggs who imo were never going to release bad results. Shorts still 10% there even though they have dropped recently. But knowing Cpi's track record, you're probably right. If they can't do it now, they never will so this is such a pivotal next few months for Capita.
