At the end of the day, they will either do it or they won't, no point arguing about it. For me, the current sp is too low, factoring in the last results. Was over 400p. If it hadn't been for the contract centre, would have pushed towards 500p. War has obviously not helped, so we need that to be resolved and the contract centre and this will then move higher. How high it will go I don't know. As said before, I don't think I will hold on for the "real" re-rate as no guarantee

Adam, there probably aren't any shorters on this board. It's risky and people like Aim don't know how to short, she's shown that a million times. It's not great the shorts are so high. Greggs is highly shorted (albeit starting to fall now), but the sp has stayed rather steady there. Ocado another where the shorts are starting to fall as well, albeit is shorted (like Greggs) higher than Capita.

Ultimately, we can have back and forth on here, we need to see if Adolfo's plan comes off. If you have been in Capita a long time, then you'd have to side with the shorters, as it's been a dire investment. We should be at a pivotal stage now and everything but the contact centre was heading in the right direction, but Cpi need to shoe some god damn proof. He's said they are perfectly placed in a market with great opportunities, so now is the time to show it.

That's the bet here really, if AI will increase margins. Margins have already increased, it was the contact centre that left a gloomy forward picture (well, the market just looked at that), with that hopefully out of the picture soon, this should climb.

The fall from grace is way over done, but how far this can recover will eventually come down to how successful AI is and if it does lead to the opportunities Adolfo has been talking about.
