Bodog - getting out at 8.2p was a bit of a godsend particularly when the likes of Ugi and the Mad Nag and others were saying 30 - 50p - and to this day that word "Simples" rankles with me - still knowledgeable oil investors and others have only "Karma" to blame for there predicament Eh ??

Tell you what Bodog, I wish you well on your crusade to get a No Vote and i hope you can nail those grimy little numpties that are the BOD. For my part I will hold back on posting on the subject and wish you the best. At least like a few of us many months back you pointed out exactly how this would end up and posted some realistic comments standing up against the rabid rampers (we all know who they were) who have suddenly turned there coat now they realise what a load of bull that was being spouted. I actually understand your reasons for wanting to "Swat" RC and his despicable team but I don't think it is achievable by voting NO. My reasoning is: Firstly there needs to be a vote arranged and as I understand it there is no EGM arranged as yet although that can happen very soon. Having thought about it over the weekend whilst the grandchildren were over causing havoc, I don't think there will be a vote because if they don't believe they can win it they wont bother because in all actuality they don't need to have one to achieve what they are looking for - they simply will enforce there security. Lets say however the vote takes place and the shareholders collectively (like herding cats) and they achieve a No vote - so what? you are still not in a position to sack Cole and Co, the EGM simply reports back via the BOD to the BH and they will do whatever they want to do because they can and the PI's are stuck. What a No vote might achieve is that they might force better terms so perhaps it is worth the gamble?? But the key issue the BH will weigh up is is it worth negotiating further and offering a better price or can they achieve what they want to achieve by causing a default and taking the licence - and therein is the real conundrum. As for RC and Co the EGM cannot force there resignations unless it is an EGM called for that purpose and I would seriously doubt that they will put that on the agenda for voting as they are - as they have demonstrated - greedy bar stewards. Whether the No vote takes place or not I cannot see them being dispatched by the BH in the short term so I think you need to resign yourself that they will squeeze six more months out of there salary if they stay or negotiate a fee to depart? - not a happy place to be for the PI's but frankly the way it tends to work.

OK Bodog - lets say I am prepared to vote NO and the vote is carried - what happens next ??

Put it this way buddy a guy today bought 207,503 shares for £2,988 - a few years ago that same amount would have been worth just shy of £830,000.00 now that does make you think and realise what a pile of cr4p this now is !!

Cyan, on reflection I think the closer we get to a vote the more most remaining holders will simply dump there shares for a few crumbs on the table. the remainder - well they might find themselves in the majority - vote NO and well whatever happens after that !! If the vote is No IMHO it will mean nothing because the BH can simply enforce the security and do there own thing anyway. If the current shareholders who wish to make things difficult for the BOD who lets face it are the ultimate targets that everyone wants to see hanging from there toes there best chance will be post enforcement because when the company has no assets it will be automatically be suspended from trading on AIM and liquidation would be likely to follow at which point the administrator of the liquidation will have to take note of certain claims by investors of mall practice if appropriate.

Just out of interest what happens if the BH's simply enforce there security ??

Overman - how you have the cheek to come on this BB and proffer an opinion on anything anyone posts - you along with the likes of 13, Ugibear and other low lifes spent months ramping the hell out of this share and you in particular were one of the chief culprits - you ramped the hell out of this making false statements such as the bond are paid and settled, you were one of the most vociferous supporters of the BOD stating many times how great they were in negotiating the way forward. You winge and whine like a girl now you have lost your investment and take no personal responsibility for your actions EVER - now back to the home for you theirs a good chap and stop bothering me with your Kama cr4p. !!

Paddy I have already explained but for the sake of clarity I am happy to do so again: A No vote leads to only one outcome and that is insolvency mainly because without the £10m I suspect the company will be technically insolvent. If the company is insolvent it will have to go into liquidation and as a result of that the licence (according to the terms) will be cancelled and without that asset the investors end up with nothing !! In the event of a YES vote the investors still cling on to something albeit very little. The company survives and if you look at GKP as an example questions are now being asked in a forcible manner to hopefully bring in to question past actions and claims on how the directors handled the company prior to the restructuring. In short if the company is liquidated then all will simply fade away and be conveniently swept under the carpet and be forgotten whereas if the company remains there is a platform to hold the current BOD to account !!!! I like neither of these choices but the ability to screw the key BOD members for the atrocious manner in which they have brought this company to its knees needs to happen and it will NOT happen if the company is liquidated.
