Hi Investroid, I fully support the idea that past price does not dictate future, if it was that easy we would all be millionaires with a few years.
However, looking at the data, the potential downside is now limited, but the potential upside is massive.
If Asos can't survive the market constraints then I find it hard to believe that any other company will be able to.
As such, given that people will still need clothing, and looking at the market, Asos are on a prime position to come out of the current climate in a more dominant position.
Part of the Top Shop acquisition was for £65m worth or merch, which is a lot of clobber to have on hand.
Secondly, as US gas price increase, then US clients will shop online to reduce their own travel expenses.
Thirdly, for less than a billion there are literally dozens of Chinese, US, and UAE funds that could buy up Asos to sit on for a couple of years and emerge as the number one company.
