The news we already had was that a third party had requested call in. Local authority followed process and requested call in and now Welsh government have deemed it worthy of their attention - rather than rejecting call in request which would have returned it to local authority.
Still yet to hear a reason why that is something to worry about long term. What is the tangential link between Greensill going kaput and SAE, Eric? In black and white why should we be worried about our investment and SAE as a going concern? You are of course right to raise concern we shouldn't as owners bury or ignore anything, I just think we all need to put them in perspective.
Another poster, FastShow, shared some reasons but none are especially troubling long term. I agree with him about Usk being *less* attractive with the potential to supply the new furnace disappearing - but there still exists the data centre PPAs. The other reasons go further to explain the short term drop.
I'm not ramping or painting a rosy picture, these are all unnecessary and unfortunate events that I wish weren't happening and very valid re short term volatility so appreciate the input from FS. But I'm looking for reasons to sell from a long term perspective and yet to see any. I'm more concerned about the planning permission than anything related to Mr Gupta and Greensill.
Can you spell out the existential risks for SAE from GFG crisis? It's an unwanted complication but yet to see anything that impacts the fundamentals. I'm not wedded to this and will happily sell and move on if I find anything that does so genuinely all ears.
Where are we open to this? I'm looking through the annual report trying to find where we lose our shirt. So far the biggest threat seems to be them offloading all their shares at a discount.
"A SARS-CoV-2 antigen (which in all Tests we have seen is either a spike protein āSā or nucleocapsid āNā) binds to a biological structure that is specific for that antigen (lock and key). This structure is typically an antibody, but may also be an aptamer, affimer, glycoprotein or other structure."
May it indeed! Have a great weekend all, know I will.
Wanted to use my first post to say thanks to everyone sharing info on this issue, been very helpful.
For those of us holding in an ISA obviously any dividend payments were destined for that ISA, I presume any payment from the Swiss taxman will not be paid into the ISA? As such we would have to use allowance to place back in. Or have I got the wrong end of the stick.
