Don't know if anyone else looks often, but there has been a sudden uptick in the number of 'A' trades in the last 20 minutes.

Trouble is Emerald, we don't know what they possibly already know, and that really is our dilemma. Not a level playing field unfortunately.

I do take some crumb of comfort from the hiring of Moelis and Teneo who appear to have good reputations. Really hoping they can bring something good to the table

Morning Evans, not strictly correct. The shorters have already made their money by getting the price down to 20p. All they need to do now to consolidate their gains would be to hand the shares back to their rightful owners and smile all the way to the bank.

They need to 'buy' shares in order to RETAIN their ill-gotten gains, and to avoid any losses a rise in price would bring.

That's when things could get interesting . We would all love that, but personally, I think they've laid their bets and are going to continue'sticking'

About 62,000 shares 'bought' by Bots bought between 1043am and 1044am and price moved only from 20.74p to 20.88p - and someone was asking how the Hedgies get out without significant move in price.

Very much depends on what you look at Shahz. According to Simply Wall Street "Future ROE: PFC's Return on Equity is forecast to be very high in 3 years time (258.1%)."

" PFC is forecast to become profitable over the next 3 years, which is considered above average market growth."

All sorts of positives can be cut and pasted together with all sorts of negatives

Depends on your 'agenda' and as far as all the journo/scribblers /analysts go none of 'em are to be relied on.

Further to my last point. If you look at share trades from 08:35 in full page, as soon as the price got to 22p the Bots started in with some bigger sells. It's quitre apparent when you look how once the price rises beyond what they are happy with a few big sells bring it back down. Good thing today is people holding onto their shares and 'numbers' joining in the buy - that's where day traders become "useful"

You can see it in action on the share trades (given the LSE's limitations on that). All the 'A' bot trades today have been marked as sells, and the quantities are far larger than the PI's trades. When they start redecing a bit the A trades go to buys, followed again a bit later by sells to restrict upward movement. The last thing the Hedgies want is momentum to build, and they will do their level best to halt it

'cos as soon as they let the price rise, 9and PI's start in) they bang in a few sells just to keep lid on, repeat, repeat. PI's just don't have the wherewithal to trade in such volumes

Bots working overtime to keep an orderly lid on this, volume building nicely and much earlier than yeterday
