InvestmentProf I should of seen this drop coming. I knew about the BOE meeting 2nd Nov. Last week was time to get out for now. I sold half of my Barratt, should of done same with TW. I have only been dealing shares since 2012 so still learning.

InvestmentProf I agree.. Friday was a great chance to get ot at 670p and still have the Dividend. Same with TW 207/ 208. 670p looks a long way off now for Barratt. Oh well we live and learn.

I am not normally negative, but I don't see any positives right now.

If the base rate does change as expected on Thursday where is that going to leave our BDEV and TW share prices ? I feel the only way is down.

InvestmentProf Your right. I should of seen this coming. Could of been out of TW on friday at 207 / 208. A huge profit for me. Lowest today was 10p lower than Fridays high. Barratt highest price minus divi 671p now 646p. Not looking good. At least I sold half of those at 699p though.

Ive bought and tucked a few away in my long term ISA. No big worries with these around �14. I bought slightly above. I had previously sold GSK at �15.20 on the 5th October. Very happy to get them back at over a pound cheaper.

we are now at exactly same price as 24th June last year (2016) when it touched �13.69 as it did today. It then rallyed to �16.76 at 7th July and �17.18 at 28th July

InvestmentProf you say you shorted at 698.5p. well after adjusting for dividend its now 664.... Now the price is only slightly lower at 660. Spead would be around 2p. so how have you made �30000 ? did you have �15k per point on it in IG index ?

I sold at 699p intending to buy back at 660 / 662 which would of covered the 34p divi and stamp duty / fees. BUT I have bought GlaxoSmithKline instead.

Ex-Dividend date is 9th Nov.

I hope to buy back my shares plus extra ones at £6.60 on Thursday. I sold at £6.99 on Monday and wish to invest the same money back in for extra shares.
