Any thoughts on:
a) lack of feedback from the Court case
b) when approval is likely to be received by the Chinese Authorities to increase Ganfeng s/h in BCN to 28.8%.
As I have expressed before I welcome the increased investment despite the dilution that it implies. Not only should it ensure BCN is funded to production but also makes Sonora very important to a major player plus who in their right mind messes with the Chinese?!

I object to the expression 'cave in to Johns musings'. I don't mind you 'disagreeing with Johns opinion', but your phraseology implies mine are flippant and ill informed remarks. On the contrary, I have been, and remain, a shareholder of many years standing who has good knowledge of this companys operations, and is interested enough to have attended several presentations many miles from home and met and talked with the BOD more than once.
I don't want to pick through your post other that to observe that beyond Tavsan and Kizilcukur other projects are still a distant dream, no matter how big Ozaltin is. The difference now is that AAU has next to no control over what were once its wholly owned assets.

I tried to B&B into an ISA last year via iweb. The told me that it wasn't exactly cost free as the shares still have to be bought and sold through a Market Maker so you suffer B/O spread and a (possibly reduced) commission. Is that just a story?

Think you have me wrong, I don't want negativity avoided. You can equally say the court case is hanging over - I check for an RNS each morning, after all just how long does it take for a court to decide if something is time barred? Or having been told we have broken ground then .... I want another progress report and i want it now!! Having viewed several of these AIM projects of the years the pattern usually, not always, is the same. Excitement in the early years as potential unfolds, excitement when production starts and money is rolling in. BCN is in the middle now, the 'teenage' years. Will it go smoothly from here? On schedule? On budget? Whats the cash burn?
I haven't the answers, the last 2 months have been disappointing. The only real positive is persistent climb of the Li price

A statement has been made that pre existing licenses will not be effected. But conversely when you are talking of national Government, which in democracies can change complexion every 5 years or so then things can change as their power is pretty limitless other than political pressure from superpowers. And Ganfeng directly and indirectly own over 60% of sonora, and they are Chinese - who wouldn't be best pleased if an attempt were made to nationalise. This is true not just in Mexico, its everywhere. Look at Corbyns manifesto re energy companies, unstable African states etc etc. You may as well not invest anywhere.
Dragging this up every week or so when there is nothing really new just leads to negative sentiment. Not sure if comments on this board influence the SP, but it doesn't help.

What he's done is a no brainer. Exercised options at a third of the current price and sell some shares in the market (at current price) to go most the way to pay for them. Hardly surprising

No disrepect to Beevorma but I am with you bluegrass. When you say things they are reasoned and supported, though I guess some would say selective, but that is not my definition of ramping. A ramper to me posts messages similar to that at 8.18 - 'Won't be this cheap for very long, fill your boots'. Its a statement with no logic, no argument, utterly pointless.

Are we sure the royalty, if proved, falls on the project rather than BCN alone? If the latter then if the case is lost the effect on BCN is doubled surely?

Looking at this but not convinced the downward drift is stopping just yet. I may well join your ranks in time but think would rather miss the bottom and buy on the way up rather than try to catch on the way down. Sentiment in the press seems negative despite the PoO. Personally the corruption allegations don't worry me too much, what oil industry companies don't grease a few palms (they pretty much have to), but you have to let it become old news. At the end of the day the expertise of companies like this are needed irrespective of bad publicity.

Indigestion following the placing passing? I believe investors have been holding back fearing more downwards drift. If this holds there could be a pile in. As some clever poster said recently the liquidity is low as so many are held by institutions (we can be confident Ganfeng wont sell)

Not sure but the RNS does say that some new builds and 'recapitalised' vehicles already have the kit. If its RCDO tech than I assume not

Speaking only for myself I would be pleased if the SP consolidates at this level for a couple of days. Last time it was here it lost the gains made over the following day or so back to 40p. I don't want drama, I want slow and steady growth

I think once it starts there will be a bit of FOMO going on and momentum will be achieved, bit like December a few short months ago. Trouble is that having wallowed for some days around 40p any increase will bring about some short term sellers
