I agree, I didn't much like the apparent lack of shareholding by Secker and his chums, I have no idea what compensation will be given to the Board for the balance of their fixed term contracts, but it is usual in these cases for them to exercise some or all of their Share Options. As I understand the RNS, it is only the independent directors who have not only recommended the offer but have pledged their shares. Of course we expect the remaining directors to also recommend, and if that is the case I would have thought it would only be ethical for any severance (or future employment) to be declared at that point. I wont hold my breath,
As for saying we should have got out earlier, we have made a nice profit on this in recent months though I know there are some early investors who are sitting on a loss here. Genuinely sorry for them, as the company is being undersold in most of our opinions.
