Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
@TheDevil Hate hearing stories like this, it could happen to any of us. I was just going to say funds too, and I see mline has said the same thing. You can still lose, but at least you have an awful lot of diversity to cushion the blow.
My current strategy is to look for bargain basement shares suffering due to the pandemic hoax, and get me some bargains! RR is on my list. But equally I *could* buy at 32p and them go into administration or half again. Its a gamble.
"Personally I won’t sell a single share and will monitor periodically to see how things go."
So basically your plan is to burn money. How much would you have saved if you sold yesterday, or the day before, or the day before that? This is not a strategy its suicide.
" no doubt about that so in the future they can create a new World order that the elitist crave ."
Could be. Or it could be to create in incredible buying opportunity for their mates. Imagine buying so many share with a 90% discount?
You should be furious with the governments stupid overreaction.
"It has also killed a huge number of people" Totally untrue. Next to no difference above the average death rate.
"But this is Ftse100 and who would have envisaged an epidemic of this proportion."
No one could have envisaged an overreaction of this level to a disease that 99.5% of people survive. Very worrying.
Although I am hanging out like a covid vulture looking for bargains to swoop in on when the time is right. That makes me feel incredibly sad, so sorry for you.
"If the market doesn't like unpredictability then there is no one more unpredictable as Trump."
What nonsense. American markets have seen meteoric increases during the Trump presidency. Unlike us poor British suckers who waste our time with the wealth destroying FTSE.
"Biden being elected won't crash the stock market"
So you believe increasing corporation tax from 21% to 28% is good for the market? and companies? lol
"There's plenty of films at the cinema. Cineworld is trading. They just need to break even at this point, and that can be done with as little as 16% capacity. Some big blockbusters are lined up in 2020, staring in November with Bond."
People were saying the exact same thing weeks ago as it went from 60 to 50 to 40. I expect Bond to be the next woke nightmare making a loss. But we'll see.
Yes and there is more to it than that as well. It takes 2 weeks from his electioneering time. making him losing slightly more likely. A Biden win will crash the stock market.
"I read reports over the weekend that the UK Government will be unable to vaccinate everyone"
About 50% will take the vaccine and the other half will refuse. So don't base any investment decisions on the word everyone or 2 years. As its not going to happen. 99.5% survive corona. Lets see how many survive the vaccine!
That is peanuts. Me as a one man band have had 3 years contracts worth more than that!
I'm curious how a business that gets a huge slice of wasteful government largesse manages to be worth so little?
Don't put all your eggs in one basket :(
I think a 50p or lower average sounds even better! :)
@NDNIC00 I'm not seeing a 63p in the last 5 years. And obviously there are small ups here and there, but the 5 year trend is overwhelmingly down and anyone investing in that time frame will have lost quite a bit. It is sad, I hate people losing hard earned cash. But as I said already its a business people hate, because they treat their customers very badly.
'I would be interested in anyone who can justify this low valuation, I'm truly lost for words to explain it.'
This is a company people despise. Poor service with eye watering price increases sometimes twice a year, once for me in the middle of a 12 month fixed deal! People might have held their nose and invested to get the dividend, but without that, forget it.
If you look at the 5 year chart, this share has destroyed the wealth of anyone who invested in any time frame.
Well historically it always returns to 0.01 or less after the pump. But maybe this time its different? haha
100 mill x nothing is still nothing :)
Buy at 0.01 and sell at 0.02 you can do this every week to ten days..
When I sold it was up 50%, now its only up 20%. Same thing it does every time, pump and dump.
