I think, from hereon Russia will just try get rid of Ukraine forces from their territory and just wait out for Trump. War intensity inside Ukraine will decrease significantly long before Trump takes office, and this may even open up Dnipro river for transporting ore in the very near future.

In the absence of giving shares to holders in a separately listed company on MOEX, imo the company should have put such a clause in the sale contract; think some companies pulling out of Russia did just that eg, Hyundai.

As regards Maxim Nazymok, his departure was a bit abrupt and his replacement appointment (Eugenia Onuschenko) imo is temporary; Onuschenko does not have either the qualification or the experience needed of a CFO, and her previous position in Corporate Finance remains unfilled for her to return to once suitable person is found.

As for Evgeny Monakhov, he was too qualified for the job in the first place, having previously held posts of director in large financial services companies. Head of Investor Relations does not carry much clout/status within companies. Who knows, to continue in the position, he may have been offered relocation to the land of goats and Borat which he turned down!

CORE is down 1.67% today, whereas we could have been celebrating possibly a +100% rise.

I get the feel FXPO's next few days will be very much tied in with how Trump Media stock performs in the US. If DJT opens positive, we could see a rebound in FXPO later on.

I’m not surprised by the change of senior personnel in the company to date.

New majority holder would not want the CFO appointed by Alexander Nesis when his brother is still in charge. Finance can be manipulated by majority holder and so they would want their own person in charge.

What surprised me is the replacement in Eugenia Onuschenko who is not a qualified accountant and has zero experience in financial control which is absolutely essential. This also leads me to think the decision to relieve Nazimok was most recent and the appointment of Onuschenko will be temporary until they find a suitable replacement.

Peace will come about whoever wins US elections as both sides, especially Ukraine looks more tired and defeated and so needs it more. Trump victory will just accelerate the peace process.

I’d say no divis until shareholder register is fixed. Many retail holders (Hl, AJ Bell etc) don’t even hold correct shares, and there’s no drive/determination from CORE to get it sorted either.

Nevertheless, updates from hereon should be very positive driven by higher gold price, unwinding of more excess inventory from 2023 (80% unwound by 30 June, leaving 20% to cash in) and depreciation of Kaz Tenge against USD since the interim taking pressure off the costs. This should ensure second half is at least as good as the first.

@Selevi..likewise sorry to hear of your situation. As regards boosting the value (in the absence of LSE listing), my understanding is that company is already working with its advisors and with AIX to include the exchange on the platform of a significant western broker/s catering for both institutional and retail investors. Also, it is engaging investment banks to resume coverage of the stock, and will actively market the company on the equity conference circuit. According to Nesis, listing on MOEX was a huge obstacle, but now that is out of the way, I would have thought work on this should be well under way.

Further, the company put out a press release last week confirming appointment of Vitaly Nesisi on the committee of the Foreign Investors Council in Kaz which is chaired by the country’s President Kassym Tokayev. This is an influential position which could help towards realisng the above and to obtain new licenses inside Kaz etc.

We will watch for any progress on this front and other encouraging noises the company have made recently with interest eg. Nesis said the company will announce a ‘major’ business deal before year end.

Whilst the pain from sanctions have been felt across Europe, no country have suffered more than Germany; not only the loss of lucrative Russian export market, but huge spike in energy costs resulting from loss of Russian oil and gas have rendered large parts of its industry uncompetitive.

This is great news and the Trust got excellent value.

As someone pointed out few days ago, Solidcore will deliver for those with patient capital. Fundamentals are excellent and the management have the experience of building a world class company.

It is most definitely China stimulus package, but not to discount direct and to the point intervention on part of Trump in US has applied added pressure on Ukraine to reach a deal. No matter how much the support from Europe, Ukraine would collapse without US backing and Trump said he will withdraw support. Polls in US are too close to call and so Z cannot take the risk of sitting out cos he could be caught wrong footed.

@Scooters...not sure how you get around that. My holdings go back to 2022 and I haven't added any since. Think best bet would be to seek advice from CORE Investor Relations.
