The 50 DMA of volumes average out at circa 1m per day. Doesn't mean a great deal as vols +/- on investor sentiment and news flow ( the life blood of AIM stocks).

Today circa 167k shares traded all bar poss one were buys but the sp did not move, perhaps the spread widened a touch? Does anybody know what volumes move the sp, is it up in the high hundred k's? I have not been around long enough to get the feel for the stock. I notice it's a quiet board no bad thing being under the radar, can have its advantages, ie keeping the ramps and de-ramps away! However the more successful the co becomes we will inevitably attract the short term brigade peddling their own agendas. I for one will not discuss Zam outside this bb. Feel chuffed today the first stock I have bought for yonks that has not gone against me from the off! Happy to be invested, if only a small holding one I have high hopes for. JL

The bane of pis on most boards I look at! I dont bother anymore checking b v s just the total recorded hoping that's somewhere in the ballpark. Your right of course Revolutionary this gives a distorted picture as to the true state of affairs. All trades today marked as sells is hardly going to inspire potential investors to buy when he sees a sea of red sell figures. As e ever caveat emptor, but it needs to get sorted!

Agreed comeonvog! This co has a lot going for it. I like the vertical integration (seed to consumer) rising middle class good relations with Government owning the supply chain etc... I see Zam as a lth which I'm sure will reward the patient investor over time. Potential is massive with expansion to the sadc countries a priority of the bod. Im very bullish hope my cash arrives soon. Gla

Sometimes its best to research a share at its simplest level, disregarding all the statistical mumbo jumbo that pis love getting bogged down in. Crockodile shoes = mistress, cattle =wife no 2 both supplied by Zamdate agency! Dont know why I never thought of that method before! Certainly works for me. Not currently invested here, awaiting funds and on my fairly exhaustive research see a lot of upside potential particularly if the $/kwacha turns in the cos favour. Interims should be well ahead and brokers are pencilling in $7m+ for 2015 a $10m swing giving circa 28p earnings per sh and 2x pe ratio. Wots not to like? Downside?.......being cynical its an AIM stock and true valuations for cos are a bit hit and miss and of course easily manipulated by the mms and shorter gangs. But if your in AIM I'm sure your aware of the pit falls! GLA.

Concur with most of your post, I rate Cameron he's got and is getting better I think considering the way he has to keep so many factions in line not to mention the shambles he inherited, he is doing okay!
