Yup shares traded on crash day was 21.6M followed 3.74M then 4.1m then 2.8M. Today has been by far the bigest trading day! To what pupose and why I have no idea. Still I have near doubled my last two purchases so the play would be sell and reinvest. Will I? Probably not, no make that definitely not pre vote just in case that booogey man strikes unwary investors. Take your point re HALO principle or confirmation bias luckily I don't suffer from this...I think!! It's a very rare day for Sphere to be the centre of attention after years of heedlessness so one days excitement don't make a summer! Won't grumble but we need more info from the EGM whether we get it is questionable.

As ever boys and girls...dont get carried away by a 29% rise in the sp...unless your a short term trader..then good luck to you. Maybe some info is leaking out pre EGM.. who really knows? My advice for what it's worth is hold for the long term...that's 5 from now! If that time frame is too long for you best cut and run if your not prepared to accept a loss or at best break even. The South London investors are in for c 2.5m+ more shares since the crash on 22/8. As I understand it all these shares will be excluded from the 'vote' so why all the sudden interest ahead of EGM tomorrow?

BP......Only limited if it's all one way! It aint, lots will be looking for a small touch of a £100+ in this chaotic market which is no more than a roll of the dice or the turn of a card. What does 0.65 represent? Oh yea the cleaners wages no doubt! Whether Mr Market is being overly pessimistic or not is for you to judge. We are where we are and imo the sp is out of kilter to the fundamentals of the long term prospects and I might add nobody suggested this was a quick fire return. I factored in 4 years and I was out by 2 ish years. Cancellation of our quote caused the drop, panicking investors to run for the hills, fearing more bad news. Understandable for sure. So ask yourself what as a public Co can Sphere achieve they cannot as a private entity? Answers on a postage stamp! Let's get over the vote, delist (unless an offer appears out of the blue?) and relists in 5 years at (multiples of the head cleaner wages)....... and that ain't a given is it? A million shares when I started buying Sphere would have cost not far short of £350k!

Can't agree Del....its small potatoes for him in cash terms but his % is large and I think he knows a lot about Sphere. Remember it was his first investment in WPCT. Has he slung in £12M on a whim?

I would say to his fund holders but he did mention Provident in particular....no mention of Sphere...of course. Nevertheless I'd take it as a wide ranging apology to investors but certainly not to Sphere per se.

Given Woodford's comments to shareholders to ignore the 'chatter' the 'hysterics' of the market and focus on the long game will he pull the plug on Sphere? Think not. Not sure about the sales team going but for sure slimmed down. We must cont to sell P if orders are being taken....the more the better! Interesting comment he makes...."it may surprise investors but it's a fact of life that regulatory environment that sits around public markets ensures that I can't know all the things that I would want to know" Make of that what you will!

Morning cellis....no not me. I added a few more at 0.60 and as per usual five mins later they fell to 0.45 or something. Bloody typical! My inebriated calcs re avc had me at 5 ish...redoing the nos while sober put me at 7 so miles out of the money, mind you hugely better had i done nothing! rugs mentioned to me there's an interesting post on ADVN by dusseldorf re Sphere. Next twitchy moment is vote result which will be known by the bod by now so perhaps an rns this morning? It might be odds on to pass but as my father used to say "it might be 10/1 but never forget the 1." I'm out of my stocks 'cept this bloody one and if this goes private might escape any Trump v Bing Bong Jong or whatever the twerp is called World War 3! The EGM should give holders a clearer picture of where the Co is going and who will be managing our future. W&E have had ample time to sort out Rencks successor(s) i think that's the least we can expect and would be bullish for Sphere. A renewed sense of urgency is required, we have drifted for far too long even with the NHS purchasing constraints. More GO-GO...less NO-NO if you will. All my comments on Sphere are predicated on Proxima being wanted and commercially viable. If hospitals won't buy or do not see P as a worthwhile addition to their inventories....well so be it. End of. As of yesterday, as far as I know no hospital has said "it's a piece of junk I'm passing." Perhaps more like "we like it but not just yet?" Or variants of....but here's the thing, hospital evaluations have been going on for at least 9 months now so purchase delays could be about to end? Cutting back on P4 suggests no but W saw something. I have front run the vote...praying that holders will not vote to destroy the Co in a fit of pique. Sensible heads will prevail I'm sure. There should be a fall back position in the event of a NO vote but it won't be pretty!

Sale of a great longterm asset due to external price falls in the cropping division don't make sense to me. Prices fluctuate all the time and surely they have hedges against this? Oil companies do..... hell most Co's do if trading across currencies! It's a small loss so easily recoverable this year. Have to hold.

Afternoon guys there will be changes! The previous management cannot survive a 99% fall in the companies value and remain at their posts. Even given that rewards for failure are endemic in British business I think on this occasion reality will bite! The only way Rencken can stay on is if he's set to announce a rush of orders re'cd in the last week...heh heh heh!! Sorry a poor joke.... No he's toast and I'm sure...ish he'll resign at the EGM. Notice how the trades stopped dead at 12.30......?
