Going private..8 Sep 2017 06:11
Savvy66 we are way past P3 which was basically a lost leader and used to gather feedback from users. We're very much into P4+ and the auto version P5 aimed at the US market...when & if. There are drawbacks from going private the main concern for those who have only the Ords it's unlikely they will see dividends (if any are issued) that does not bother me.....it is will Sphere ever be in a position to return to the public markets and will W want to recoup his considerable investment which could be upwards of £30-40m? He may, he may not? Another consideration is will you be able to sell once inside a private Co?
Will you find a buyer should you be desperate for cash?
If your throwing your lot in with W&E
you better hope he will! W&E& LSF hold 76.3m shares so assuming all the iis and other smaller iis have gone there are c 66m left. Since the crash c106m have been traded so lots of churning however it might be safe to assume that come delisting pis might well own 40% a huge increase from pre crash levels. I bet W didn't see that coming. I have absolutely no idea how the sp will react if the vote passes....I hate this phrase "it's already priced in!" But it might be? Sentiment will improve I'm sure the sp I'm not so sure. Tbh
as I'm intending to keep my stock until the last minute (in case we get an offer)...Yea right, sp movements are neither here or there. Expect lots of gyrations between now and the 19th. By then we should be in a better position to decide..."is it with him or agin him?"
