Well I'm still dallying... of course I have little option as I see it...very well managed by those c****s PG & we'll... take your pick...brilliantly managed from 50 down. I take my hat off to you! Given that the sp will fall another 50% next week... will for sure flush out the last of the desperate & short termers closing losing positions or those looking for a tax loss, don't delay before your offered 1/100 of a penny! As an AIM Co we are finished, chuck us in one of those bins at the back of your local Tesco among the rotting, carcasses of Aim cast offs. Should you ever return... yea right, you might like to throw some fertiliser into the bin on the off chance of giving the kiss of life to Proxima? I'm feeling kinda bullish having won the pub racing yet again! Wish to ucfk I'd never heard of this effing stock! Oh well time for another pinky (it's an old colonial lunchtime tipple beloved of Rubber Planters).

Two page spread in The Times this morning giving a rundown on his funds and performance. Disasters mentioned (the usual suspects) but not a dicky bird on Sphere! Shows how insignificant we are.

I take it if you still hold stock after last day of dealings they are deemed to the new Co?

Cheers cc...good point on the patents but value might be rock bottom? I'm tending voting YES and taking pot luck that W&E can get me some value. Is there a method whereby I can pledge my shares to the 'new sphere'?

What happens if you don't /forget to vote? Are your shares just not counted? Or by voting 'for' the res your shares are then deemed to have been issued to the new Co and become untradeable? Hope that makes sense.

It continues to amaze me the nos of people/iis who continued to throw money at Sphere since the IPO for nil return myself included. Were we all deluded, did Sphere have a magic sign, did they hypnotise us into parting with our money? Was P nothing but smoke and mirrors? Goodness me I know I'm a gullible soul but some of these hard nosed iis? Usually they would pull the plug at the first whiff of trouble in.......Sphere's case way way back yet they did not. SVB were happy to loan £3m, one would think on assurances of a pipeline of sales & revs likely to flow back into the Co. Has anything changed on the outlook excepting the funding crisis we were not told. Scaling back P4 leads me to think the uptake from hospitals was very poor (again were back to the "is P any good question?") W&E must think so & look where that got them. I agree Del most of the iis have baled taken what crumbs were left possibly their articles preclude them investing into any concern where freely trades shares are not possible. As of yet not rec'd my Poxy forms but have the info digitally on my mob so can I use that to vote? One other Q. Having voted my shares for the res Can I trade them the following day or are they deemed to have gone into the new Co? After this shocker of a week (-86%) it's hard to finish on an upbeat note but then there never has been any during my time here. Plus ca change! note

Vol on wk was c 37m (inc the late trade, so 26% of shares outstanding) on c 304 bargains. Any thoughts cc2015?

Herald Inv Mngmt do not appear on the Top register of holders (4%+) as of May this year. From memory they sold out a while ago or reduced below 3%.

I think the UK Healthcare Industry should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves in allowing a small beacon of light in the UK healthcare technology area to go bust without lifting a finger to help. Dr Hendry myst be as mystified as all of us at this sudden turn of events. Notable exceptions are W&E. Whatever stick Woodford gets in the press he puts his money where his mouth is and backs his judgement. Of course he's going to have failures that's the nature of investing in start ups and early stagers. Without him we would have gone under a year ago. I think we should congratulate him on that. I sincerely hope I have not mis-judged him as some posters are highly critical of him. I gave Rencken the benefit of many of my reservations mostly because of the 12 month time frame to purchase P4. I won't go into the others as they are well known to lth here. At 0.825 we have no future it may just as well be 0.125 for all its worth and tbh for all I care. I'm really worried about the vote and what this could mean for investors. If a NO vote prevails will W&E fold? That would send a dreadful message to potential start ups in the sector and an awful advertisement to other countries that the UK will not support one of their own! Look... if P was a useless unreliable device i could understand the reluctance to further bankroll us but according to many this is most certainly not the case, in fact the complete opposite. Professor Vincent said P was a paradigm shift in BG analysis and Professors in this sector are not noted for shooting their mouths off. Prof Growcott of Southampton was similarly impressed yet a constant worry for me was no orders from QEH & GOSH who may have sussed a flaw in the device? What is one to think? Surely cannot be true!? So SVB with all their Silicon Valley contacts could not come up with one US investor from the largest Healthcare Industry in the world by far to bung us a few quid! I find that astonishing! If the yanks wont invest in us whats the point in going across the pond? Years ago M.Hall said and i quote " we get approaches all the time and our belief is that before long doctors & nurses will only know this way of testing blood. It will be like digital photography compared with taking a roll of film to the chemist to be developed." Sorry Mathew you got that wrong and this was way before P3/CE. Now that we are up and running, represented over most of Europe those expressions of interest have evaporated. Most odd!

Your relying on a lot of imponderables cellis...particularly as to dilution of your holding which we cannot assess. However your right to at least plan ahead but your not factoring any sales to speak of so we know that's impossible to forecast so why attempt to forecast further funding. I don't think they are mutually exclusive to one another, sales could boom, costs reduce or via versa? I do it myself but the nos are always skewed by events like last bloody Tuesday. Bet that put a few Brokers noses out of joint, c'ept colluders PG of course! Having come back in are u in for the final spin of the wheel? I cannot consider buying at this sucker price as any educated guess of mine on this dog has always been wrong. So trying to forecast investors intentions in this crucial vote?.....forget it!

Will the lactate now near completed and maybe others need a year long CE certification? Those delays were partly responsible for our present predicament and have crippled the Co. Can we afford any more? The cutting back by 35&40% tells me that Europe once thought of as our bread basket has given us the bums rush. I cannot fault your logic vis a vis Spo wholeheartedly agree! However you lost me on the 'energy stuff' mind you electric cars and fuelling them that's a nightmare! I do want to see some action/progress.. blimey they (Penrose) has had long enough to think about where Spo sees it's future prosperity. A sense of urgency is required, there's many a Co in the US that would complement our activities if not even bid for our worldwide presence in horse racing and leisure related divisions. I cannot fault Penrose there he now needs to sweat the assets!

Much as I don't want to vote 'YES' I have been backed into a corner and feel my only chance of rescuing any monies, albeit a pittance is to support the resolution. Should investors also agree and the res passes any Co looking to buy Sphere may make a cheeky cheap bid pre last dealings if W has had enough? Clutching at straws here I know but in this very fluid situation with so much uncertainty a bidder could strike and at the least license out the technology to good effect. This happened to me years ago in another quoted Co and i got a stay of execution while the hangman's noose was being placed around my kneck. They say lightning doesn't strike twice.....I bloody hope it does here!

Well whose going to buy the CPS shares at 2.822 for min £5k assuming the vote is carried? That's the first hurdle. If that fails well I think the stock will be suspended and it's over and possibly out? So....how badly does W want to protect his investment and does he see a future beyond 2017? He may decide it's way too much trouble to keep filling the bottomless Sphere pit ad infinitum and chuck it in picking up the cigar butt for peanuts in administration. If the vote is Yes he might have to add to any shortfall from £3m (2nd round) to keep us going for another year. Whether he can get any rev's during this period is open to question.. any way you look at it it's not an appealing prospect for investors.

Morning cellis. Yup that's likely to happen but from my point of view if Woodward wins so do I. If the co gets taken out at a £50-75M valuation my shares are going to be worth a hell of a lot more than current sub 1p. Fot instance I would need a t/o of £25M to break even perhaps with dilution more like £50m but worth it for that alone. Trouble is its bloody years away and I may never live to see it. But I gotta believe!!

Morning ABLE... what misleading statements of fantasy have I posted? I'm unaware of doing so and that's the first time I've ever been told to get real! As I'm sure your aware anything I post on this BB is just one man's opinion to be taken with a pinch of salt. You may agree with my light hearted side swipes at Penrose & Co or not. I do not take offence if you disagree with everything I post...I mostly do it myself! Anyway despite your observations I am most likely the longest or one of the longest serving holders of Spo stock on the register so you will no doubt gather that I must have the interests of the Co close to my heart. However I reserve the right to disagree with Co policy and the management now and again. For instance look at the top line these past 10 years v the All Share. As ever healthy debate is to be encouraged...ultimately we all want the best, just disagree as to how we get there.

And finally if W is in for £10m to date and thinks Sphere will need another £10m for the US venture etc...what price would he want for the Co if he got it into profit? Would he be happy at 20x on a DCF basis?

Have all these shares come from? By my reckoning, exclude W&E and Life Sciences Fund then 20m of the 29.45m traded could have come from Ortho (8.1m) Octopus (6.2m) & Ruffer (5.6m). An rns shortly might reveal who has deserted Sphere in her hour of need...heh heh heh! If those funds are still on board who has been selling? Where are you cc2015? Have you thrown in the towel in disgust? A sobering thought, 500k Sphere when I started buying would have cost me £165.000.00 now £5000.00 oh how the mighty has fallen.
