Techs off c.1% on wk, Idea gained a couple of p and continues to outstrip the sector while Sage was the big casualty down 4.5% but (-21%) ytd. Mfocus gaining 1.56% yet (-46%) ytd. The Dow was off 2% while the Nsdq closed down nearly 1% but 11% ahead ytd.

Lse back from their jollies I see.... Essential maintenance i suspect, which was good for the sp on Friday as the stock closed u/c on the week with Oil off $1.13 but up $9.20 ytd. Shares bounced in London (ftse+126/1.7%) on back of energy sector closing the wk with a 0.6% gain. Rate decision was priced in on a 6-3 majority to leave alone, while tariffs reared its ugly head the EU saying it would implement $3.2bn on US imports immediately. So far the mrkts seem incredibly blase about the prospects of a world global trade war breaking out. The China v US tit for tat taxes will be terrible for mrkts worldwide if it truly escalates. Of course Trump could change his mind tomorrow, perhaps that's what investors expect for surely Trump must know nobody wins at that game in the short or long run. Have a good wk/end all. Let's hope Panama are not a banana skin awaiting!

Heh guys...whats all this offering up prayers, crosses and doing the jig as footy players come onto the field...ffs? You may well be right sparks...i guess im better off just tossing coins in the air or reading the runes to explain recent barrow boy and those bloody machines shaking out loose holders shenanigans. Seems like shorters / mates rates are back in business....for now at least. Regardless if you have spare you will be more than happy to add to a share whose P/e is off the scale jumbled in with stodgy bricks'n mortar stocks and no hopers.... so much so i have to recalculate daily to confirm the ratio and that i have not invested in a dogstock by mistake. Happily my nos confirm that Mr Mrkt is being extremely generous to those who can look beyond the end of their noses. It won't always be so.

Nearly 5m sells (I'm assuming) late on at 10 kinda says it all here. Disappointing considering the half decent nos. I'm out now at a loss (as bloody usual) I hung around here too long, my first and last African venture...that's for sure. Good luck to all still holding.

Oil $74.34. US and Asian mrkts a mixed performance awaiting news from Opec & worries over trade tariffs. The Dow streaked to a 7th consec down close while the Nsdq posted another all time high boosted by biotech stocks. After gaining 24 yesterday the ftse is called 25 up at open. G was on a downer from the off and never recovered closing off 9. June has been a poor month G shares 18 down mtd. I expect the shares will recover from the 'summer blues' and have a strong Q3 & 4.

Last payday shares down 17 this one down 9....not much of a recipe is it? Best forget today.
